I am a 12th grade government teacher at a public high school in Los Angeles. I am taking 18-20 students on an academic trip to Washington DC this spring, and the cost is $1600 per student. The students that attend my school are considered financially underprivledged and can not pay their own tuition. I need to raise aprox. $30,000 by the end of February, and so far we only have $1,200. We are doing what we can by selling candy, and holding silent acutions and raffles at school, but we need help! The students have sent letters asking local businesses to "invest in their funture" by buying shares of stock at $10 a share, but we have not received any response yet.
Does anyone know of any companies or businesses that are willing to help my students?
The goal of the trip is to help my students gain a better understanding of our political system, and in turn become more politically active. This trip will change their lives!

Do you think we should get rid of Rick Dipietro due to his inconsistancy in the recent seasons. Despite his record and GAA isn't horrible it's not getting us places either. Satan is getting old and Yashin our only true captain is gone to Russia and is probably not coming back and the rest of the roster can only put up so many points to make up for rick's mistakes. PS. Ok so one of my really good friends likes this boy. Everyone knows she does but him.
We recently were fighting about something stupid when she turned the subject to something totally different. She said I told the boy she likes she likes him. Which I didn't.
But she said I told him like 2 months ago.
I keep telling her that she needs to believe me and that I wouldn't do that to her. She keeps saying I'm lieing.

Now we don't talk and she hates me.
What should I do.

I have 98 Toyota Runner, 4cly, automatic. I replaced the throttel sensor myslef and i forgot how to remove (reset) the check engine light on my dash. This what i remember on resets. Turn off the car and turn the swich on three times and then press the brake pedal once or twice and then turn the truck on as if i was to drive it. I did this once and it worked but i forgot how to do it again. A college friend told me this but he moved out of state and can't ask him. Go figure i lost his number too. Can anyone help me on this. Are you satisfied with being a PATSY to the liberal "left"? Wake up! Now before everyone says "hey they all knew the format before the season started". I just think the chase "waters-down" the champ. Lets face it you don't have to be the best you just have to be the best (or luckiest) for less than 1/3 of the season. To further my point Clint Boyer got outperformed by 11 other guys for 26 races but ended up 3rd cause he didn't have any major problems. Jimmie's nice but i'm sorry, in my mind you have to be the best all year to actually be the best.
