They act like it's 3 people in a boiler room asking all these questions, voting in all these polls, and sending in all this money.
Could it be that someone is finally saying that the Emperor has no clothes, and people are noticing?
And this the imperial court verrrry nervous?

I don't think fear is the problem. The problem is that he doesn't represent what most mainstream Republicans have come to identify and expect from the party platform. He's really a Libertarian, and they know that as well as we do. I think this "movement" has been moderately successful and I give Paul's supporters a lot of credit for hanging in there. But Paul could raise $50 million dollars next week and the Republicans would still find a reason to leave him behind when it came time for the nomination. He just doesn't fit their mold, and that's never going to change.
I get a lot of thumbs down from Paul supporters when I point this out. It seems to be something they don't like pointed out or don't wish to discuss. But you cannot get a candidate to the top of the heap by not being realistic. If he is truly to have any real chance at election, he should be urged by his supporters to run independently. He simply will not be given the Republican nomination.

The Republicans are terrified of Ron Paul because of the fact of his acceptance among the individuals. Ron Paul is for upholding the form and for abolishing Federal Taxes. he's by contrast conflict and consistently has been. Ron Paul is against special government. something that Republicans in the final inhabitants are very plenty in choose of.

The problem republicans have with Ron Paul is that his platform doesn't resemble the mainstream republican platform. In other words, he doesn't represent the Republican party, he just happens to be a republican.
A Ron Paul victory in the primaries would dismantle the republican party and guarantee a Democratic victory.

No one is afraid of ron paul, he simply will not be elected, and would never be able to accomplish his goals, since he would need to deal with the executive and judiciary branches, who would laugh in his face. Ron Paul would be nothing more than a lame duck president.

They shouldn't be as he is the only true conservative among the Republican candidates. Unfortunately too many potential Republican voters are scared out of their minds of Islamofascists and want to support their phony war on terror. They have been brainwashed by the Neoconservative propaganda since 9/11. However, more and more of them see it for what it is. Support for the war continues to dwindle among Republicans.

I tell ya', the only "republicans" that I see "worrying" about Ron Paul are the ones that I see on television. Most of the republicans that I know personally do not fear the guy. In fact, many people are very intrigued by his message. People - real people - are listening closely to what is going on. I think the days of "business as usual" politics is over, thanks mostly to the Internet. The dynasties of Bush, Clinton, and many of the career-politicians, should be VERY concerned with the untimely "deaths" of cable and network news sources as our only sources of political information.

Republicans aren't afraid of anything nor do they go into panic mode. If they did that all America would be afraid and pannicking. It's just not our nature. We are a powerful country and all nations fear us. That's why they hate us. Now Democrats tuck their tails and run. The nations fearing us love us to have a Democrat for president because the Democratic presidents are to busy chasing skirts then doing their job. They know they can attack us and demean us because they know a Democratic is too scared and balless to do anything about it.

They are afraid because Paul has no potential to ever be president but if he runs independently could split the right vote and ensure a Dem win.
Considering that quarter 4 finances have not been published yet it is difficult to know where you got the idea that Paul has raised more than others.
So I assume you are actually arguing about Q3. In which case Josette is right. Paul did not raise more in Q3 than Romney, Guiliani, McCain or Thompson.
If you are indeed talking about Q4 perhaps you can produce your source.

to right-wingers constitutionalists are considered conspiracy theorists. Wonder why that is?
I would say Ron Paul's agenda just isn't as profitable for Republicans.

it's because he's not a Republican but a Libertarian running as a Rep. If he doesn't win the Rep.nomination and that is unlikely then he runs on a 3rd party ticket and takes his support from the Rep. voters diminishing their candidates total.
