I just bought a butcher block from a resale store and need to refurbish it. It is rather grody and needs to be sandpapered and refinished and I am not sure what to use to oil it. Should I use Linseed oil or maybe lemon oil? Anyone know what is safe to use for something where food is prepared directly on?

I don't want nor do I 'need' to loose more than 6-7lbs. I am very stressed, my mom and I have trouble seeing eye to eye and school is difficult. So I'm very tired and worn out, constantly. Which makes it hard to diet and excercise when all you want to do is rest. I try to rest and gain strength but my mom stresses me so much I can't have peace for more than an hour. :p But I want to loose weight. I'm 5.7' and weigh about 124lbs-123lbs. I have chubby hips and thighs. (Not hudge, but stick thicker than I'd like.) My tummy really isn'ta problem, but we'll see how it goes. What excercise would you prescribe for me? I need the amount of time I need to do the excercise and what the excercise is (running, ect.) I mainly want to tone up and loose weight (obviously, lol). What should I do? I want to feel great about my body by Christmas.
I know teens are tired alot and need alot of calories to keep going. So what'll work???!!! HELP!

Yes, I know these shows aren't exactly in the same area of T.V but basically for xmas I can't decide between getting every episode of Seinfeld or the West Wing.

I've seen numerous episodes of both and loved them but I can't decide (and no I can't afford both) ... so which seems like a better investment / re-watchable...

I suffer from a mild back condition, which causes pain. I bring ibroprofen to high school with me, but I get no relief. It works for my sister. Am I immune to ibroprofen (Nurofen)?

I see where you can insert the exponents 2 and 3 but I need to insert a 6 as an exponent. I don't see it in the symbol/math.
I need to write 7 to the 6 power.

I would not be surprised if Hitler and Stalin, if they were to come back today, will be treated as "celebrities". Invited to tv talk shows, having stories written of them in supermarket tabloids, having people taking photos with them in malls, especially with young and pretty ladies. Telling jokes to the people on sidewalks. Being "hated" makes them quite "popular" with many people. What do you say?

In my opinion, Smackdown is too absessed with Edge, Batista and Undertaker. Why is Kane overlooked constantly when it comes to the World Heavyweight Championship. I'd love to see him face Taker at WM24 for the Title.

And DDP - i agree about the match with Cena and Batista winner and loser leaves

I am interested in getting from Amherst, MA to Montreal by train. Used to be you could take the Vermonter to St Albans and then a bus up to Montreal. Amtrak apparently no longer provides thruway service to Montreal. Is there any other way from St Albans to Montreal?

Alternatively you can go to Albany (3 hours on the Lake Shore Limited) and then to Montreal (8 hours on the Adirondack).

Greyhound gets from Northampton to Montreal in 7 hours.

A family had twin boys whose only resemblance to each other was their looks. Opposite in every way, one was an eternal optimist, the other a doom & gloom pessimist.
Just to see what would happen, on Christmas their father loaded the pessimist's room with every imaginable toy and game. The optimist's room he loaded with horse manure.
That night the father passed by the pessimist's room and founded him sitting amid his new gifts crying bitterly.
"Why are you crying?"
" Because my friends will be jealous, I'll have to read all these instructions before I can do anything with this stuff, I'll constantly will need batteries, and my toys will eventually get
broken." answered the pessimist.......
Passing the optimist room, the father found him dancing for joy in the pile of manure. " What are you so happy about.?"
To which his optimistic son replied: " There's got to be a pony in here somewhere!"

I'm starting to take a look at the Arkansas Governor's position on the issues and I like what I see so far. He's for eliminating a lot of federal tax programs, pro life, pro traditional marriage, pro 2nd Amendment, pro charter schools and vouchers, pro Israel, and he has experience governing. He looks like a conservative to me. How about you?
