What type of Licenses will I need to start a Real estate company from home in Florida?

I live in an apartment complex and I would like to know what Licenses would I need to start a real estate company. I would like to know this so I could continue on building my business credit profile.

You need a brokers license. You can only apply for a brokers license after working for another broker as a licensed real estate agent for 2 years.

Along with a broker's license as pointed out by other posters, you'll probably need one or more business licenses to start your business. These generally are not granted for businesses operating out of a residence so you'll need a business premises as well. That could be as little as a cheap storefront in a strip mall off the major throrouhgfares but keep in mind that in the real estate business, appearances are critical. A business presence in a shady neighborhood could attract clientele that you may not wish to deal with.

As far as credit is concerned, be prepared to provide personal guarantees for any loans taken out by the business for several years until you build up a favorable D&B rating. Business loans are risky and loans to new businesses are the riskiest of the risky. If you don't have solid credit yourself, don't expect to get any financial backing for the business through loans.

Of course you will need a Florida real estate broker's license. You might also want to check if your apartment is going to allow you to operate a business out of your apartment. Needless to say, you will probably need to have some place to meet with clients.

what do you mean by real estate company?

If you mean sales, you need a RE license.
