okay so heres the deal. i have an ipod nano but its just not working for me. i have a lot of songs and i need more room. i really want the ipod touch but its 300 dollars. (i want the 8gb). i only have a silver nano with 2gb. im dying for the ipod touch but ever since my brother started getting tutoring things have changed. we are fine and can afford and do everything we used to its just its expensive and i know education is more important than gifts. my mom said it was really expensive and it probobly wouldnt be coming my way only because it was 300. i dont want to be greedy and i know i should be thankful for any gifts but i want a device where i could get the internet on it. something like a psp or an mp3 thing. i am a straight A student so my parents wouldn really care if they got me one because they are proud of me. short story can you recommend a good portable elctronic with the internet?? tell me if it works well too. thanks!

This Christmas, I plan to ask my parents for either one of these programs. After asking one of my talented designer/illustrator friends for her input, I was almost sure I'd ask for Photoshop with Illustrator, but after looking over her work using Painter, I began having second thoughts.

I know this depends heavily on what I want to actually use them for. I'm planning to get more into graphic design in the hopes of actually turning it into a career, yet I also want to start creating my own manga, so I need to know which program will be better suited for both those things.

When answering, please don't forget to consider the costs and the difficulty it takes to master both programs. I would like to know which one is more affordable, user-friendly, and worth all the hype and money. Also, please include whether or not I will need any additional things, such as tablets and whatnot, in order to enhance my experience or make mastering either program a lot easier.

Mohammad Mosaddeq was elected Prime Minister of Iran in 1951. Unfortunately, he believed that the Iranian oil fields belonged to the Iranian people. Big Oil didn't like that and pushed the CIA into overthrowing the PM and putting the Shah back in power. It was called "Operation Ajax".

Was it worth it?

Or is this yet another example of blow back? Putting the corrupt ruthless Shah back in power led to left-wing socialists and right-wing fundies in Iran to get pissed off, eventually leading to the Iranian fundie revolution. The leftists themselves got purged by the fundies.

When I went to the eye doctor few days ago, he gave me new contacts but it's smaller than the one I used to have previously. I don't know why maybe it's kind of hard to grab when I take it out. And this time I went to a different eye doctor and I didn't show him records or anything though. I already taken the eye exams but do u think they should measure my eyes when I go back?

I was approved last year.
I lived at an apartment...but moved and changed my phone number....So The number I put on the card app. was changed.

I received the card about a month later....and Realized that I HAD to have my Home number that I put on the app. to Get It activated. So I called them and they told me to re-apply in 90 days. Well I'm still trying to apply for it as of today, and it says

"Cannot Approve Because Of: Previous Account Approval!"

Now, I can't get a Customer Service To Get on the Line. It's just Automated....Any Suggestions?

The Chinese don't permit the American navy to anchor in Hong Kong so that sailors can spend time with their family (that flew to Hong Kong).

Shouldn't America retaliate by (1) sending Chinese diplomats home and (2) better yet slap a nice import tax on the huge amount of "Made in China" crap that America imports.

The Constitution only allows taxes on goods and/or a flat tax for everyone. The personal income tax amendment was never ratified. In addition, all the money our government collects from taxes on your income goes to pay of only the interest (not principal) on our 7 trillion dollar national debt. What do you think about that?
