Comic book help??
Hi...... I love love marvel and I was planning to buy a comic but I'm having trouble with that.... It is due to the fact that is the first marvel comic I am going to buy and I don't know which one to buy because all the series started so long ago that it is impossible to get all the comics..... so I would like to know which one is a new series that I can read without having to read an old series first or knowing anithing about the characters in it.... when I say something new I don't mean something that was launched this year.... maybe a new comic book that was launched in the 2000's..... I am a teenager so I would love to know if there are any comic books from marvel where the principal heroes are teenagers...... also I have seen some comic books called ultimate something like ultimate spiderman ... the ultimates etc.... so are they new??? can I read them without having to read all the x-men previous issues that where not from ultimate x-men ....thanks

How long should I leave it for this guy to call?...he's just asked me to be his girlfriend so I don't wanna leave it & forget. If he doesn't call for whatever reason shall I leave it or text & ask him exactly what he wants because I don't wanna be strong along. We haven't been seeing eachother lately because he has "a lot on his mind" he asked me out a week ago! How long is reasonable to wait? should I text?

My dog has tapeworm and I have 3 cats at home so I wouldn't really be able to tell who else has it. If I give them tapeworm medication (even if they don't necessarily have it) will they get sick from it? or would they be OK?

I am selling my house to my Mom. I am selling it to her well below market value. The selling price is 50,000 but the banker would like to make the selling price 74000, and show it as me gifting her 24000 for a down payment. My question is am i then going to be stuck paying the captial gains tax on that extra money? Or well the fact that it is a gift make it not taxable as capital gains.

CNN misrepresented Dr. Paul's campaign ad in its transcript.

CNN writes:
"It's up to you to spread this message around this country. This is an American cause, it's a cause of freedom. There's something going on in this country, and it stinks. It really stinks."

Ron Paul's ad actually said "... it's big. It's really big." A much more positive message.

Our boys are coming back from iraq & afghanistan, completely f*cked up, lost limbs, eye-sight, disabled, paraplegic and with NO FINANCIAL HELP from the MOD and we send the Cave Dwellers £250million POUNDS A YEAR?

I am sickened. Completely and utterly stunned.

what does that mean ?i mean do men get attracted to all the females and want to be friendly wid them (imean want them to be thier gal friends) ,like i have seen some guys have aafair wid older women, some even rape very small gals (thats bad),ya it is defenataly a case of sexuall atractoin ,but do they want do sleep wid all the females despite of thier age , shape , looks?is it the same in case of females? imean alll that do they also get attracted to alll the men despite of thier age ,colour looks , shape ?and would want to sleep wid all of them ?so what happens in the case where only one gal is working in the office and all other coolouges of her r male ,do they have affair wid alll of them (including pions and alll)does it become hard for that gal if she is in such situation?so what when a female is a boss in a office ?

I'm using 12 foot pt 6x6's as the vertical supports for a footbridge over a stream and because of the slope of the ground, one of the supports has come up about 3 feet short of requirement.

The 6x6 in question fully supports the deck portion of the bridge, but only extends about 30 inches above the deck level. I want to extend the 6x6 by another 48 inches to that it will in turn support an angled roof, kind of covered bridge style.

Backing out the 6x6 at this point would be a real pain in the butt. Could I use a dowel or large screw embeded in the existing 6x6 and then screw into the new 6x6?

I DO provide more than 50% of income and have for several months. It's a very confusing situation but he does live with us and I do provide more than 50% of his income. Sometimes we get 50 dollars as 'child support' but thats not much help with a 16 year old.

I wanna know if so, I have a diet I am on that does not include lunch so I was thinking of eatting 2 breakfasts in a day one very early right after I wake up then in mid morning

I have an '07 Saturn Vue that we just bought about 2 months ago. I hadn't heard it before but lately if I turn the car on and step out of it and walk toward the back you can hear a slight "put-put" sound and there is this overwhelming smell of some kind of gas (not gasoline smelling) that makes me cough. We have an open carport. I had never had that problem with my other vehicle so I know its not normal. I just was wondering if it is an exhaust leak? Or what it could be?

The car is under warranty for 3 years, if it is an exhaust leak, do you think its worth taking it to the nearest dealership ( 50 miles away) to get it fixed by them, or paying someone else to do it here?

how can i tell if the milk i'm drinking is spoiled? it's not like chunky or anything but it does taste sort of weird. and before i can smell it from the cup too, it's really strong. it expires today though, do you think it's spoiled?

- Okay, what's the real reason behind this... is it because of the strain between the NHL and the Russian Hockey Federation?
- Or is it really because of the strain it would be on the players, schedule, and fans?
- What would the Olympics be without some of the players in the NHL?
- How do those players feel about possibly not playing for their country's national team in something as celebrated and honorable as the Olympics??
- Have I exceeded my question limit in one question?
(My apologies for that!)

I can't imagine Ovechkin or Malkin not playing for their country, especially not while it hosts the Olympics. They're players that are very important to the national team.

So you wake up on the wrong side of bed, you step in a deep puddle on your way to the office and your right shoe is now squelching with all the collected water.
You sit down at your desk at work and your boss is already breathing down your neck about 'the deadline'.

Yes, it's one of 'those' days.

How do you personally deal with the day you've had.
Do you go the the firing-range to let off a few shots, take valium? What about listening to Radiohead or taking your frustrations out on a punchbag?

For me, I go buy myself a bag of freshly baked toffee and white chocolate cookies, still warm and gooey from the oven, and I take my time to eat them, savouring the sweet flavours one torn off chunk at a time.
