I don't quite understand how something can be "infinite". How do we even go this far with trying to comprehend infinity? Why name something when you cannot grasp it, or understand it? How can we ever know if something never ends, when we cannot even prove that it exists in the first place?

They just let the kids run around like little freaks. and if you ask the parent if the believe that they are doing a great job raising their kids, they would say they were.
My parents whacked me couple times when I did something bad and I turned out fine. If I ever have kids someday I will probably do the same.

both of these clips are very interesting. they show high speed impact of a barefoot hoof and a shod hooof. look closely and you can see the vibration travel up the leg of the shod hoof, but the vibration gets absorbed into the hoof on the barefoot one.

I just bout two new pair of 6x9s and i hooked them up and i cant get one speaker to work....If i pluged the positive wire into the negative opening on the back of the speaker could that have blown them?

What happens in a case where someone has been charged with a crime but the victim has left the state and can no longer be found? Will the case be dismissed? If it is not, can there be a mistrial because doesn't the person who has been accused have a right to question the victim?

Ok, well I have asked many questions about my step daughter. And have gotten alot of very helpful advice. I need alittle advice about her and my parents.

I need to know if it would be wrong not to allow her at my parents house.Shes 10 years old.Shes only known my parents since she was 8.And we do not have full custody.

Every single time she is at my parents house and my Grandmothers house, she is very disrespectful, rude, mean, and very destructive of THEIR home. They have been very good towards her.They invite her over to go swimming and include her in the family.Last year at Christmas she said to them"Thats all you got me?" The big thing that gets me down is am really different form the other girls my age. I dont wear designer clothes, i like to be my self and i dont care about my rep as long as i have friends. Well what's hard for me is people insault me ALL THE time cause of my differents. I tell people i dont care about what they think but everytime i get bulied it hurts inside and i have to pretend i dont care. At school am allways happy but on IM when people insulte me i almost cry.Is what am going through normal? How can i get this feeling of always being sad when people insualt me gone for good?

So I just asked a question about Atheist burial procedures. And for the most part you folks agreed with what I said, but there was a few Atheists that were in conflict with other Atheists, why is this? Most agreed no headstone is required and the others want one. I guess what iam trying to say is that for the ones that want one, you guys are not purist Atheist. Am I wrong? I can't even remember the last time an AGW skeptic made a scientific argument to try and prove that the AGW theory is flawed.

Is this because AGW skeptics on Y!A don't comprehend the basic science, because there is little scientific evidence to support their opinions, or some other reason?
