My biggest problem with modern "christianity" is that they do not teach nor practice the bible in the context it was indented, but raher just teach the parts of the bible they want to look at or are comfortable with.

However, I don’t know why it surprises me that so much of the perversion of the word of Our Creator is taught today. Jesus talked a great deal about the things the churches were, and are still, doing wrong. For instance, the groups that value material things more than God. As well as the ones that pervert His word and teachings while deceiving many and falsely believing they are doing good.

While obviously there are a lot of groups today that are not following Our One True Creator, I will say this when it comes to having faith in God.

Never confuse the practices of the people with the church,
Never confuse the practices of the church with religion,
And Never Ever confuse the practices of religion with God.

May Our Creator bless and watch over you and your family

Empathy can't be readily taught. It is so that Jesus is empathy par excellence; but it should be more accessible in showing humans can't do what they can't have experienced for themselves and that parroting Him or fearing God is not to be a low form of worship , but a close representation of verisimilitude(the Truth). And we as humans need learn that we are the problem and the solution if we sidestep evil and self and focus on respecting the Lord over loving him. As if we could ever measure up. Also, rampant G-d blasphemy is a problem in my eyes.

at modern, i think of the biggest venture with Christianity is that issues have been further to it and further faraway from it. I at present understand of 7 deviations from it. part of the allowance of those issues is the reality that mankind is as a pretend god (Gen. 3:5). (that's additionally between the 7 deviations).

the whole idea that we live under the grace of God and have no need for and are not required to follow the law of God.

My question would be, if there is no law, what do we need grace for? why do we need to repent?
Is God really the same yesterday, today and tomorrow? The laws are for our good, to protect and bless us - to show us why we need to repent and to keep us sanctified and make us holy as He is holy, grace keeps us from having to face the consequences of breaking the law, because we will.
I have a problem with the teaching that we can calim the promises and live under the umbrella of God's blessing and prosperity but we don't have to live under His authority.

I also have a problem with some of the music, but that is a personal thing - I won't get into that unless someone really wnats to hear about it.

I don't mind the t-shirts as long as the people wearing htem are acting Christ-like. My favorite t-shirt so far says "They will know we are Christians by our T-shirts" I think that says it all!

There is a big difference between having a problem with madern Christianity and having a problem with God- regardless of all the failings and weaknesses in the church (we are all human and all works in progress- no one coming to the cross comes claiming to be perfect and we are not immediately made perfect- ) in all of this God is still God, He is still perfect, He still delivers, redeems, saves, tranforms, provides for , works through and loves us- the best Christian on the planet is still a sinner and is still going to be a highly lacking representation of Jesus, of God- it is not them we look to- though we can admire their traits, be encouraged and inspired by them- they are still human and we will still be disappointed by them, offended by them- we cannot look to them - we must always look to Jesus- He alone is our salvation

The biggest problem right now is that Christianity is going backwards. I think if Christians could get the chance to recreate history in America, they'd throw out everything secular and put religion into all aspects of life, political and otherwise. Essentially, they'd make America the Christian version of the Islamic world.

Milquetoast Christianity.
By that I mean, weak Christians who do not have the backbone to live the life. They would rather live like the rest of the world and their false preachers tell them it is alright as long as they prayed the prayer at one time.

The biggest problem with christianity is christianity itself.

The story of Jesus as God is false..
There was no virgin birth neither resurrection is true..
the concept of sin and saving from sins is all a big hoax...

christianity as a whole is the biggest hoax on humanity..

The total delusional perspectives given by it followers and leadership. Life is too short and too important to go around believing that there is a God somewhere who wants us all to act like dependant children upon his whims of us. My faith is one which believes the total "opposite" of what christianity teaches, for it teaches what Jesus taught. Being personally responsible for one's self, and also accepting the blame when we fail thus making the necessary changes in our lives when needed. Christianity teaches very little to people of what Jesus taught his apostles and disciples. RESPONSIBILITY. It is why you find many of their leaders falling flat on their faces from the temptations of the world.....

There is really no problem in Christianity. Christianity, in other words is the way and the teachings of Jesus Christ. The problem lies on us people coz we sin a lot, our Church Leaders sin. If only we follow Christ there will be no problem in this world. There will be love, sharing, helping each other. No envies.
All we have to remember is that there will be eternal life but it depends on how we live in this world. Praise God!
