Does anyone know the proper etiquette? Do you send thank you notes to those that attended the wedding and just thank them for sharing in your special day?
I had some people that sent a gift before the wedding and I sent a thank you note thanking them for the gift. Should I also send a note thanking them for attending the wedding?
Any suggestions appreciated.

He comes into work almost silently. He sits for a minute before commencing his workday. When people stand around him he freezes and it feels like he wants people to look at me. Why? I am the bosses daughter and I guess I am pretty. Could those be the reasons? maybe he feels uncomfortable around me?

It would give them a sense of purpose, take them off housing lists, give value for benefit expenditure, stop them drug taking, vandalising property, robbing the elderly, reduce burglary and help bring order back to our broken society.

I suspect many will agree?

If "gold " is in the clue it won't be in the answer and vice versa. Thanks for your help. These are the last clues out of 100 and they are driving me crazy! It is not a crossword puzzle so I don't have any letters, just the number of letters in the words.

1. Dealer in broken remnants of gold (4,3,3)
2. Israel's downfall (6,4)
3. Dismissal from the army, followed by a job in Whitehall (6,6)
4. US plutocrat favoring the gold standard (7)

My dad says he doesn't like oversensitive people like my aunt - but I think I have the gene inside of me, too.

For instance, I take everything personally and every single bad thing that's happened to me will linger in my mind for weeks if not months.

What do you think of over-sensitive people?

indicate that they know what God wants... and admonish anyone who has a differing theory... is anyone REALLY so arrogant as to think that THEY have all the answers DIRECT from God?... why is it so hard for these people to simply have an "opinion"... since there are NO FACTS to support any of it.... I'm not an atheist... but I do know enough to know I don't have all the answers...

You need a letter for today that needs to be submitted to an official (it doesn't matter what kind). The person you need the letter from (who works 1000 miles away) is nice enough to do the letter immediately, fax you a copy, and send the original in the mail. Unfortunately, the a**hole official will accept only the original and needs it TODAY, and there's no way you'll receive the letter until the day after tomorrow. Would you have any ethical or moral dilemma about going over the faxed signature so it looks like an original? (Assume that there's no way you'll get caught).

The power of America's "Jewish lobby" is said to be legendary.

Commentators the world over refer to it, as though it were a well-established fact that US Jews wield far more influence than their numbers (2% of the population) would suggest.

But this presumed influence is also a delicate issue in the US, and is rarely analysed.

How does the lobby work? Is its power truly legendary, or just a legend?

Two US academics, John Mearsheimer of the University of Chicago and Stephen Walt of Harvard, have set out to answer those questions, and triggered a firestorm of controversy as a result.

Their book The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy, which builds on a 2006 article in the London Review of Books, says the reasons for US support for Israel need to be explained. [Many critics] tried to smear us by either saying or hinting that we are anti-Semitic

Stephen Walt

Mearsheimer/Walt interview

America spends $3bn a year in largely military assistance - one-sixth of its direct aid budget - to help a prosperous, nuclear-armed country, and strongly backs Israel in negotiations on Middle East peace.

But according to Mearsheimer and Walt, the US gets remarkably little in return.

They reject the argument that Israel is a key ally in America's "war on terror".

On the contrary, they contend, US patronage of Israel fuels militant anger - as well as fostering resentment in Arab countries that control vital oil supplies.

The Chicago Blackhawks are going to lose tonight to the Lightning [a team of superior talent ;)]. Since, all of you Chicagoans will be crying in you beer, I have compiled some Blackhawk questions to help your ego. Lol.

1.) What player had the nickname “Dipsy-Doodle Dandy from Delisle”?

2.) On January 28, 1943, the Blackhawks beat what team 10-1?

3.) Chicago played their 1st season in what arena?

4.) In 1952, what player scored 3 goals in 21 seconds?

5.) What was the last Chicago goaltender NOT to share the Vezina Trophy?

6.) In 1986, this Chicago player was towel whipped by Patrick Swayze in a movie called Youngbloods.

Have a great day everyone, and hopefully, I will not have my tail between my legs tomorrow.

For instants I have lived in predominate white neighborhood, and I notice that even tho I friendly welcome everyone to my home. I have invite guests and share my good cheers with everyone for 14 years I still have no real white friends but I do have asians friends and Hindus friends and Iranian friends and Mexican friends, and African american friends quite easily that I can make these friends, but white americans no matter how much we can have in common, because I am fair brown skin. Made-be they accept one lunch or made-be one dinner. Never really form a friendship with you. I asked other groups of people and they have found the same experience. Even this society have progressively accepted more brown skin people professionally but not on one one basis. You don't see them in malls with this type of friendships or on TV there is still only white shows with only white friendships. Like Friends, the newer shows too like Samatha Who. Seems it on purpose they don't want brown friends.

Being an Indian,I am not ashamed to admit the blunt truth that ,our country has lost its national character. The society has gone corrupt.Corruption is rampant.More or less every individual in this country is corrupt.Corruption is so deep that we arent ashamed when caught.Every Government Department is corrupt. The Defence is corrupt.Judiciary,Bereaucracy,Legislature....every feild is corrupt. For a price you can get anything done in this wretched country. The root of corruption lies in our mind.I agree there are a miniscule few who are the silver lining but their number is so small that it hardly counts.Indians are the lowest of the low in this world.Corruption here is mind boggling. What can be done to reverse this.I dont find any solutions.Any suggestions.Only honest people should answer please.
