Bismillahi Rahmani Rahim - In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

I know this question is tongue-in-cheek, but I need to vent so here goes.

I am a Muslim and I think the authorities in Sudan are BLITHERING IDIOTS. To take an honest mistake, a minor cultural gaffe, and turn it into an international incident is the height of stupidity. I am enormously proud of my religion but hopelessly ashamed of some of my brothers and sisters who know so little about their religion. I hope the Brits send out commandos to rescue this woman and impose sanctions and do whatever they have to do, diplomatic or otherwise, to free this woman.

May Allah preserve us from educated fools. Anyone who wants to know the TRUE teachings of Islam may visit the site below.

Fi Aman Allah,

Nancy Umm Abdel Hamid

I think a better question is, do you really have any intelligence?

It's sad what happened and it should not have happened. What you see is ignorance of Islam and dominance of cultural ignorance. There's nothing wrong with naming a teddy bear Mohammad, it's most popular name in the world.

I think what we have is a little bit of both. Ignorance of Islam among the people passing the punishment and ignorance of the teacher to be not aware of the norms/values of those people among whom he/she went for her job.

by UmmAbdel,
British can send commandos to rescue her all they want. It is bit foolish of them to do that and sour any relationship they have. Dipolomatic means are better for both sides, also the diplomats can take some islamic scholars to help them in their case. As for sanctions and other crap you uttered, why are you imposing death on a whole nation becuase of the act of a few on one person. You accuse those locals of ignorance of islam and yet turn around show the same thing? You are NOT a true believer until you love for your brother/sister what you love for yourself. Is sanctions and death what you want to give them rather then education and understanding?
