I recently had a mental eval done. I was supposed to deploy to Iraq September 3, but I have stuck in the rear because the Army doesn't think I am stable enough mentally to go. They are sending me to med-hold, though I only have a temporary profile, everyone is saying that not to keep my hopes up that they Army will chapter me for "unfit for duty." Does this happen frequently?

Kay here's the story, It was my first year at university and although i hung out with quite a few circles of friends there were no real close friends i got to know. Then I started hanging out with this one girl from my classes, she was in the same classes as I was and she was fun so I got to know her a little better. Sure i flirted with her now and then but it was nothing i didnt do with all of my other friends....but something tells me she doesnt know that and just now as she got off the bus she told me she likes me.

I feel like a jackass for leading her on and she's an awesome girl, what should I say to her?

I'm visiting Thailand in late January, early February. I've done the usual stuff: temples, Grand Palace, floating markets, night bazaars and beaches. I'm looking for something new, some places to party. I'll be in Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai. I'm in my mid-20's, traveling with friends and family.

I'm also bilingual, so I can go most places easily and unfettered.

Well, I just got my ears pierced a couple days ago and I was allergic to the earrings. My mom just took them out today a couple hours ago, cuz it hurt me and it was itchy. Other people said that I shouldn't have taken them out and now I have to get them re-pierced...my ears are bumpy, barely red, and it has kinda pimple-like stuff on it. I don't think I'll be able to put another pair of earrings on cuz the hole is closing up. Should I have taken them out or not? Cuz I'm worried. And what if it happens again when I get my ears re-pierced? It was my first piercing. My little sister got them with me, but nothing's wrong with her ear. It's perfectly fine and she got the same earrings too! How come it's happening to me? I'm worried...and do you guys have any suggestions on what stores to go to? Cuz I need to go to one that sells for cheap, like $20 more or less?

Why are little kids taught to believe in stuff like Santa Claus? I mean when you were a kid, you REALLY believed in Santa. You thought he was as real as your parents. You tried to be a good kid all year for awesome gifts. Is it to get children ready for the brain wash into religion? I think Christians are brought into it at such a young age (the same time you learned about Santa) to brain wash them easier into believing in a vengeful god. What do you think?

So my question is - When people do something that they say God told them to do -

How do you know they are right?
How do you know God really was talking to them?
And what do you think about someone who sincerely believes that God told them to something that you think is bad?

If it is just in their heads and nobody else is a witness then can't they justify ANY ACTIONS by saying that God told them to?
