Ignorance and intolerance are by far the most dangerous thing in the world. Wars have be fought because of them, entire races of people have been nearly wiped out because of them, and random acts of violence are done because of them on a daily basis. And that doesn't even touch how they affect the political world.
As for what is dangerous for the world, that is a relative unknown and depends on what you mean. You could say that an impact from a large meteor or comet could have global consequences, but the world will recover in time as it has done in the past. You could say humans are dangerous to the world, but the reality is every time we think we've gone too far it turns out we haven't. And even if we did wind up completely obliterating ourselves, the world would recover in time. I think the only thing that could truly destroy our world is the sun going super nova and swallowing the planet - but scientists believe we have about 5 billion years before that will happen.

Second to that is pollution that depletes the ozone layer, subjecting everything to radiation.
