Sometimes out of no where my laptop will make a very odd sound. My best way to describe the sound is...... it sounds like something is crawling in the the laptop..... or like somebody is crinkling a plastic candy wrapper. It has been going on for a few months now. It happens at random times. Anybody have the same issue?

So I've done some research and I know all of the consequences of walking away from credit card debt. But I am not sure what I should do. I know many people have asked this same question and were told to get credit counseling. I've also looked into that and most places charge a fee which I can't afford to pay. I've also looked into debt consolidation loans, which I am not eligible for. I've even called my credit card companies and asked for a lower interest rate and was denied. I can't afford to get an attorney.

This is my situation. I was young and dumb got a bunch of credit cards. I think I have about $4,500 in credit card debt. I try to pay more then the minimum payment monthly but my interest rates have increased & I cannot afford the monthly payments. I also have student loans & a bank loan that I pay on as well. Those loans are obviously more important then my credit cards.

I pay on these cards and the balance never goes down. I don't even use the cards anymore, it doesn't make a difference.

Any HELPFUL suggestions or advice from personal experience is appreciated.

just because they don't like the answer? The answer does not qualify under any of the other restrictions, so a polite well-written answer gets bounced by Yahoo because somebody claims it is not an answer. How can any answer NOT be an answer? That is ridiculous. Shouldn't Yahoo delete this potential objection because it is being misused to delete perfectly legitmate answers?

I'm 19 and enrolled in a college to go spring semestr-problem is my parents are divorced and hav bad credit and cannot get loans. In addition, i was supposed to be saving but I went on spending sprees, and owe:
2k on amex
500$-on visa from first one bank
300$-on target
I cant keep up with this and im now late on all 3, what do i do??

My mom pays the target and dad helps with my phone bill but still?! My credit is going to go down the drain and i dont know how to stop it could they work with me?

he sits down and notices a large pickle jar filled with $10 bills. He calls the bartender over and says "how much is in that jar" "close to $3000" says the bartender. "what's it for?" asks the man. The bartender replies "if you pay ten dollars and complete three tasks then you win the jar." The man has a few drinks and says "what the hell, I'll try it." as he puts his $10 into the jar.
The bartender says ok and brings out a gallon jug of tequila. "To win the jar you must finish this gallon of tequila in two hours, then there is a very nasty pitbull out back in the alley with a bad tooth, you must bring me the tooth, and finally there is a 90 year old woman up stairs who hasn't had the company of a man for a very long time, you must pleasure her to her satisfaction and then I will give you the jar"
to the bartender's suprise the man finished the tequila in 1.5hrs. and stumbled out the door to the alley.
