The last Christmas I spent with my grandma was priceless. She had been terminally ill with bone cancer for about 2 years so we knew this would be her last Christmas. My family decided to get a TV for them to watch in the living room-old one went out- I wheeled her into the living room in her wheelchair-sat her next to Grandpa and they proceeded to unwrap this huge box-after unwrapping it they were not sure what it was cause the box was upside down-we told her & grandpa what it was-they both started crying along with everyone else. I get a lump in my throat every time I think about it. Sadly, she passed away the next November-the day before Thanksgiving and on my nephews birthday. The TV is now at my moms in a safe place.

When my daughter was 4 years old we went to see my parents in Indiana. They didn't know we were coming, my brother picked us up at the airport. We ducked down in the back seat of his car so when my dad looked out the window he wouldn't see us. My brother had mom and dad go to the kitchen and his wife went back to the car to get something she had forgotten(us). My daughter and I walked into the house stood on the other side of the kitchen from my parent, (their eyes are closed) then my 4 year old said Merry Christmas Grandma and Grandpa. They were so surprised.

The best memory I can think of is probably spending my 1st Xmas with my ex. My family wasn't very close and I don't have alot of relatives, so to go to his house was amazing. He is from a big Italian family, so on Xmas eve we went to his one grandparents house and had the 7 fish altho, it was actually 21. Then we did my moms and his the next day. It was just nice to be in a big family atmosphere.

When me and my brothers we're small we would have my aunts and cousins come to the house and we would dance to a spanish song that was so much fun to dance too. Whenever I hear that song it takes me way back and it feels so nice.
