I was in an ARM with a 9% interest rate and it was going to chnge that next month, so I rfinanced to a 8.875% rate. Now, I found an even better deal with conventional loan at 6.875% rate for 30 yrs adn 3224 in closing costs. Should I do it again so soon? And what are the repercusions, if any? Are closing costs tax deductible?

I am going out today to buy a Savage 111 bolt-action rifle today for deer hunting, and I'm not sure what I should get. I can either get a .270, 30-06, or a 7mm. I'm not sure which one is better.

I have chronic back pain and it hurts me pretty bad to give my kids (currently ages 3, 4, and 5) a bath. I'm a stay at home mom right now. Even though my husband works long hours, I still expect him to bathe the kids instead of me most of the time because of how it affects me. Is this unrealistic?

So I asked an ethical question; and everyone responded to it with the cliche "Socialized medicine won't work" answers. My question now is simple: can anyone ethically justify a society whose health care is based on HMOs?

Remember this current system isn't a system based on choice: you don't get to choose your doctors or procedures, the HMO gets to.

Also, this system may provide better service (something debatable), but that quality is unequally distributed.

Any ethical reasons that we, as a society, should keep the current system? Let's hear them, I'm really interested.

Thanks to Youtbue, I rediscovered just how great it was, and a bunch of memories of watching it school in kindergarten came back.
