How do you debone a fresh ham?

I have a fresh, corned ham (shank portion) with the bone in. I need to remove the bone but keep the ham whole. Your help is greatly appreciated!

Taking a long sharp thin knife slice down the bone around both sides. Pull/push to remove bone down the center. Tie ham tightly to close center cavity. Roast in ties then remove.
