I am 37 weeks pregnant with my first baby. Thursday night I was having really bad pains in my abdomen and some contracting. Yesterday my back hurt all day long. It wasn't just my lower back though.. It was more lower to mid back pain. Then the contractions started up again. I am trying to keep track of them but in between the contractions I am having period like cramping that hurts so bad that I end up tightening my stomach up myself. I hve an appointment on Monday that I am trying to hold out for. I don't really care to sit in the hospital for 5 hours just to be sent home again. Any ideas if this is labor? I have been about 50% effaced for a month now. Not sure if I am dilated. Will find out Monday,

There is nothing "bad" in the Bible that hasn't been explained before countless times.

In 2 Kings, Chapter 2, here is a verse many people love to take out of context. Here is the verse:

2:23 And he went up from thence unto Bethel: and as he was going up by the way, there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head.
2:24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the LORD. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

Once again, this is taken out of context. The phrase "little children" actually means men. It's a mistranslation.

Also, the people who weren't just mocking Elijah. They were mocking God. They were cursing Him.

Agree?

I have been ttc for 7 months. I am going to get a test done which assesses if my tubes are ok as I am ovulating, hormones are ok, I have a 4 year old child. I am pretty certain it will be ok but just want to be sure. If the tubes are damaged, is there any alternative other than IVF, ie can they be operated on?

Please only answer if you know the answer!

thanks

(Odysseus contemplating his fate while swimming in the sea)

Lonely man, a beast whose brain removes his soul
from brotherhood with all the earth that is
his home and truest sanctuary here.
We hate our death and blind ourselves
to immortality, of which
we always are a part. Our surest
contribution is our love and when we love,
we need so little for ourselves.
Our weakness is vain hope for some
illusory grandeur that has no root
beyond our fearful, overweening
imaginations. Change insures
that everything is forever;
in part, as part.

One morning, Chelsea burst into the living quarters at the White House and said, “Dad! Mom! I have some great news for you! I am getting married to the greatest hunk in Washington. He lives in D.C and his name is Jeff.”

After dinner, the President took Chelsea aside. “Honey, I have to talk with you. Your Mother and I have been married a long time. She’s a wonderful wife but she’s never offered much excitement in the bedroom, I have fooled around with other women a lot. Jeff is actually your half-brother, and I’m afraid you can’t marry him.” Chelsea was heartbroken, but after eight months she eventually started dating again.

A year later she came home and very proudly announced, “Mitch asked me to marry him! We’re getting married in June.” Again her father insisted on another private conversation and broke the sad news. “Mitch is your half-brother too, Hun. I’m terribly sorry about this.”

Chelsea was furious! She finally decided to go to her Mother and tell her. “Dad has done

they don't care if it hurts the country?

I despise Bush, but as I read about his upcoming Israeli/Palestinian peace talks I couldn't help the genuine optimism that he might SOMEHOW be able to pull off what no other President has been able to.

And I'm sure I'm not the only screechy, irrational Bush hater that feels the same way...in fact I can almost gurantee you that all but the filthiest of hippies feel this way.

Bush has screwed up so badly, I don't think anyone is worried that he will be "vindicated" anymore. Even if Iraq turns out ok at some point in the future, so what? Anyone who gets their facts from textbooks and experts and not Fox News or Rush Limbaugh knows that Saddam and al Qaeda hated each other and were never going to join forces, so if things go back to normal then what did we gain? We will have lost 4,000+ troops, 500,000+ Iraqis, spent 1.5+ trillion dollars, just to remove one of many murderous dictators from around the world.

So just stop it ok!!
