I've been trying to teach myself how to play the piano for a while now(6 months). I haven't really used a book yet, but I plan to in the near future. All I know about piano lessons is that they're extremely expensive and I would have to start from scratch anyway. My first question is, would it be possible to teach myself how to read music and play the piano with just a book? Also, I'm having so much trouble with my left hand (I am right handed). I just can't seem to play anything with it, and I have tried so hard to get the grip. Is that a problem for me? Does that mean I will never be able to play? I know I need practice with it, and I have been, but nothing seems to be helping, I practice for two hours every weekday, and it's almost all I can do on the weekends. I wish there was an easier way to learn because I really want to. Please answer my questions. If you can only answer one that's fine and I really appreciate your time.

1. ya, read my previous question or read this..

my pleco. fishy is COMPLETELY GONE
my tank was closed most of the time he was in there, only about 2 or 3 hours, then i looked, and he was there, i looked again GONE ...please help, i've searched all outside the tank, in the filter, under the rocks, in the fishy toy thingies (bridge, rock) please help me find the missing fiiisshyy!


2. i need an idea for a story, pretty much any genre will work, i am just completely out of ideas, and am stuck on my current stories/novels w/e you wanna call them, if you can help, e-mail me, and i will tell you where i am stuck at. Or just give me some new ideas

I just dont understand whyy the DSl or cable internet providers wont offer me fast internet, when they offer the people less than a half mile down the road dsl and cable.
Everytime i check the availability, they say that there are no servers in my area, and they will let me know when it will be available in my area.
They havent contacted me yet., and i dont expect them to.
What can i do to obtain dsl or cable internet here?
Should i just call and call and call and call them, till it pisses them off enough to where they will come and run the damn lines????
It really makes me mad when they do this kinda stuff.
If anyone has any advice, pleasseeeeee let me knoww, thankss

I have been married for two years ten months. My husband and moved from our home because I could not accept the new him. I have not dealt very well with this situation, he thinks I should just accept that things did not work out and move on but he get extremely angry with me when I ask him for us to sit and talk about what really happened. well i for everyone that has been waiting my dog is gonna be fine she was poisoned don't know how though we can't figure it out we think a neighbor has been poisoning them. we have had a dog die last year of the same sickness so thats why we think someone is poisoning our dogs :( how could someone do that... i just don't know.....anyways my baby she is still at the hospital they gave me the bill and i couldn't afford it :( they told me i couldn't take her until i paid and everyday its getting higher and higher.. we are really going through a bad rough patch right now i dunno what i am going to do.. i asked if we could make payments and they said nooo the whole thing or no dog.. i'm crushed no family is willing to help me.... thank you all for your concern and prayers i am so appreciated of it

Given the recent spate of bad publicity about safety standards in Chinese factories and on Chinese farms, my wife and I are now very careful to not buy Chinese products, esp. produce. We check with grocery stores about the country of origin for every single product now. Sadly, the only grocer who seems to list the country of origin for a lot of their products is Whole Foods. The rest do not mention it, nor do their staff seem to know.

Are you more careful now about not buying Chinese products? What steps have you taken specifically?
