Plasmas BURN.....LCDs don't.
Plasmas are Kid-Proof....LCDs aren't.
Projection DLPs are Burn-Proof and Kid-Proof (to an extent)
Projection LCDs are NOT Burn-Proof and they are Kid-Proof (to an extent)
I'd rather pay $400 to repair the screen on a Projection TV instead of forking over $2000 to repair an LCD panel TV.
OVERALL....I would choose a DLP unit because the cost of repair is better than the others...
But if you want to hang it on a wall, LCD Panel is the preferred choice in that situation.

Marky is absolutely correct.
However if you don't mind a bit higher price, check out the Sony XBR Bravia LCD TV in that size.
For my money, the XBR Bravias have THE BEST PICTURE of any TV, plasma, LCD or projection.

LCD if the room is bright and there isn't much off-angle viewing.
Plasma if there are NO windows in front of the TV.
Projection if you are looking for a very LARGE screen in a DARK room and there is NO off-angle viewing
