My fiance and I are both 22 years old. We're getting married in May. Both of our families are a good distance away. (His family is about 350 miles away and mine is about 100 miles). We really want to spend the holidays together this year. Actually we always spend the holidsays together...at my parents' home. We want to spend them alone together this year.

His family is fine with it. They understand that the distance is huge, and agree that they will see us whenever we have the time/money to come up there. His mother comes and visits 2-3 times year (for about a week at a time).

My parents, however, throw a fit if we aren't there at least once a month. When we try to come up for a day, we're always roped into staying the night (or guilt tripped if we don't).

We were going to do Thanksgiving alone, but my mom threw a fit about this being "her last year" (cause we're getting married this year). Is it too much to ask to be able to be alone together for the holidays?

So I recently got a 2008 Honda Civic LX and read in the manual that you can change the display on the radio to say the name of the song or who sings it or whatever but I cant figure it out. Does anyone have any idea how to do this?

I'm looking for a one-syllable word that begins with the letter L to use in a domain. After searching online for a site (like a dictionary) that would list word beginning with the letter L, I've had no success with the limited list that I did find. So now I'm looking to the great people of Yahoo! Answer for help.
Thanks in advance!

For example, the 737 has engine cowlings that are flattened on the bottom for more ground clearance, I presume. It seems much less common now to see planes with engines in the rear, too, like the MD-80.

It seems like it would be OK to have the engines above the wings. This would allow the landing gears to be shorter (maybe?) thus reducing the likelihood of landing gear shimmy. It would also reduce the likelihood of foreign object damage (FOD) in the engines.

Perhaps the engines are so often under the wings in order to simplify maintenance, but it seems like the landing gear shimmy and FOD problems are more important ones to solve.

If what Scott McClellan said in his new book is found to be true -- that the President intentionally lied to the public about the outing of Valerie Plame -- what consequences should Bush face?

My son is eighteen months old and can't stand unless he pulls up on something. He "runs" on his hands and feet but won't walk. He is walking around furniture. He will walk when someone is holding his hand but he is very unsteady. He just can't get his balance.

He "talks" normally for his age and does everything else appropriate to his age. There are no signs of Autism.

I have seen his doctor who told me to come back in two months if he still won't walk. They will test him for problems then.

Has anyone else experienced this with their child? He is getting medical attention and I don't need advice about that. I just want to know how people FINALLY got their late-walking babies to develope balance and start walking on their own.

Thanks!

My grandmother and two aunts decided to take it upon themselves to not do Thanksgiving at all this year, mostly because my cousin is away in military school and he doesn't get out until Dec. 1st. They want to have it in early Dec. I told them that this is the stupidest thing ever and that our family is falling apart (because it is.) I told them regardless, I am going to someone's Thanksgiving, because I am gonna eat. The worst thing is, none of them can even admit who's idea it was to not have it....they keep blaming everyone else. How stupid is this, and does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do?
