Provided that you have an airplane large enough for this capacity, suppose that you have a 1000 lb load of canaries. You take off and all of a sudden all the canaries start flying within their cages. Supposing that the cabin is pressurized, does the airplane now weigh less because the canaries are no longer on their perch? Or does the airplane weigh the same?

After being asked this question, I thought it through with the knowledge that I possess of physics and this is what I came up with.

I took Newton's third law to base my conclusion. Therefore the air that is giving them lift is compressed in small waves and then dissipates over distance. In relation to the surfaces within the aircraft, the pressures are distributed when compressed. Since it is a closed system no mass or energy is lost. It is a bastardized explanation to something that can be taken to many levels of calculation, but is my assumption correct? Or would it be more eluding?

I'm interested in joining a group devoted to creating and passing an immigration reform package that is fair and just to both immigrants and US citizens. I'm finding that most groups are deeply polarized and can't, or won't, consider legitiment opinions on the opposition's side. Both sides tend to parade around carrying colorful placards with inflamatory slogans that creates further polarization instead of any chance at a reasonable solution.

I am 29...so I figure I would work as a probation officer for a year or so and move up into FDLE. I love the criminal justice field and am so excited that I get to use my bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and Psychology for something. This will be my first job in the criminal justice field and I am psyched to enter the academy for 3 months and then be a probation officer for a year or so. Am I too excited? I think I am going to love this field of work. Who knows, I may become a PO.

There is this girl, who I have liked for a long time. She is the sweetest, most beautiful girl I've ever known. I think she's simply amazing!

Over the past few months, our eyes have met many times in class, and we exchange pleasantries whenever we meet each other. She even made me a Happy Birthday card for my birthday. With all this, however, she was going out with another guy, so I didn't, and still don't, really know if she likes me as more than a friend. She knows I like her, though; I never told her but trying to conceal my feelings for her was/is impossible. Anyway, she just recently broke up with her boyfriend. I've been talking to her best friend, and she said that she would would go out on a date with me. So in your opinion, does this girl like me as more than a friend? Or is this just a sympathy date because she knows I like her? If she wasn't so nice, I would be sure she likes me, but I just don't know. Any opinions?

December 26,2003 my cat died and my mom and grandma didnt tell me instead, since they where in a new house they told me to show my aunt around the neighboorhood!i thoughy that since that was the first cat i had ever realized and could tell was a cat and i grew to love they didnt tell me until the next day! So I got even more upset!
