Many a horse from our local stable has had to sacrifice its nose bag to accommodate the diners chez Dolores. Sometimes there's even been oats remaining in the bottom ... and you can interpret THAT any way you like!

No, but when we lived in the country, outside of Globe, AZ, on a ranch....the owners did use food bags for their mules. They really fed them well on Thanksgiving and Christmas!!!!!

Nawwww, most of my Aunts & Uncles all had beards that kinda dragged thru their plates. So, the next day, all they had to do was set a bowl of hot water in front of them on the table, dip their beard in, and then squeeze......"Instant Soup!"

NO I DID THAT ONCE OR TWICE IT WAS OK BUT THE WAY MY MOM ALWAYS COOKED THE TURKEY WAS A ROASTING PAN AND A BASTER WITH POTATOES AND CARROTS ON THE BOTTOM COOKING IN THE JUICES; THE BEST;I CAN SAY I LIKE IT THAT WAY HOMADE STUFFING AND THE WHOLE 9 YARDS YA KNOW WHAT I MEEN

Our tradition is to take a "doggie bag" to such an event, to take left overs home.

We use food bags and barf bags and they are interchangeable.

Edit: The bags are only for those allowed in the house though.
