I am just in 8th grade but I have started to think about where to go for college. My dad went to UVA and UCLA and he loved them both. I would really like to go to one of them and would like to hear from people who went or visited there. I am thinking about radiology and I was wondering which would be better for that.

hey everyone, hope you are all doing well. a couple times in the past i have asked questions where there had been 2 very good answers. i always try to be fair and the way i do it now is i chose the one that was there first. wouldn't it be a good idea to be able to split the points for best answer say 2 ways (5 points each) that way both people could get credit for a really good answer if there were 2 really good answers? your thoughts please. thanks and have a great day!

I am to buy a laptop this coming week, and I want to be able to access the internet wherever I go. What companies provide this, how much does it cost, can you purchase it outright without any credit checks ( I am fine with a contract), etc.

I filed a restraining order against my now ex for punching me. The police made him leave, per my request. He is now homeless, but he should have thought about that before he put his hands on me. Abuse is not ok, one time leads to multiple times - sometimes death. I don't want my guilt to allow him back in my home. (yes, my home not ours - we were about to buy a home together.) My intent is not to "bring him down" - but there are laws and he needs to understand that he can not punch someone no matter how angry he is. Now I have to go to court to make the restraining order permanent. Do I trust that he will just leave me alone and keep it temporary and allow him to get on with his life or do I make it permanent and get on with my life.

I was just diagnosed with TypeII Diabetes. I test my blood sugar 4 times a day and most of the time it falls into range (<100 in the morning, <140 2 hr. after meal, <110 before bedtime). The highest I have seen was 210, but that is not common.

I never had vision problems before. I just started taking Metformin a month ago taking 1 a day. About 2 weeks ago I started taking it 2 times a day and almost immediately I started to get blurry vision and a brown dot in the center of my sight. When reading I feel like I am crossed eyed a little. I stopped taking Metformin 3 days ago and the problem didn't go away.

I will be talking to the doctor soon. But I just want to know... does any body have any useful information or experienced something similar? Should my vision correct itself or is it permanent?

I really need your prayers. I stopped smoking about 4 months ago and tonight I started having cravings.I gave in and have smoked 5 cigs. already in the past couple of hours. I know how harmful it is and also I feel it hinders my relationship with God. I truly need prayers and encouragement .
