I am just in 8th grade but I have started to think about where to go for college. My dad went to UVA and UCLA and he loved them both. I would really like to go to one of them and would like to hear from people who went or visited there. I am thinking about radiology and I was wondering which would be better for that.

I looked at all my options and I really thought radiation was right for me. I visited a radiologist over the summer and learned what they did and really enjoyed it

If you can tell me any other schools that are really good for radiology that would be great.

I'm not sure about this, so don't take my answer as the only one, but Radiology is post-university (Med school). Your days in university will be studying general medicine, and Radiology would be at actual med school.
As far as those two schools go, UV is supposed to be a little better in general.

UVA is one of the top schools in the country - very selective school to get into. All the students are serious about why they are there - very competitive.
I took my daughter there for a tour this summer. The campus is beautiful, probably the most beautiful campus I've seen. The 4th year students can live in the same single person residences as the students from the 1800's lived in. Edgar Allen Poe lived in one of those rooms when he was a student there. Smallish room with a twin bed, desk and fireplace.
The thing about UVA is that most of the facilities are old. We didn't have an extensive tour, but what we looked at was mostly older buildings.
Radiology would be graduate school, i.e. medical school.

Visited UVA in June and it was beautiful. Moving there in the new year. Quite isolated though. Good for medical sciences. Why you only considering those? I would consider more.
