Has anyone had this test ran? I had it done with a rigid scope years ago and it hurt like hell. I need it done again but this dr. has a fibro-optic scope which they say is better. I am really not wanting to do this and have great anxiety after my last ordeal. Any good stories or horror stoires to share?

My son's school has a little situation going on. The point of the production is that each grade is acting out a particular tragic event in history throughout the years, ex. Black Plaque, Salem Witch Hunt etc and the Holocaust is one of the events that will be featured. Many parents are going crazy about the kids portraying the holocaust in paricular because its "sensitvity among the parents, children, and as a community".

My feeling is that we cannot ignore history. It was tragic and wrong but it has happened and we cannot try to block our kids from learning about it.

What do you say?

Why do Republicans hate paying taxes... while they seem to love getting fleeced by corporate America? They pay way too much for health insurance, pharmaceutical drugs, the Iraq war... and a whole lot of other things, and they're just fine with that. Willingness to get taken to the cleaners seems to have become an act of patriotism. Good Americans support capitalism by getting gouged... and bowing to the corporations who are doing the gouging.

But they hate to pay more in taxes, even if it means saving money.

Why?

Do I tell surgeon how to do his/her job? No, because I don't know anything about it.
So what makes them think that they're so unbelievably special that they've been able to figure out how homosexuality works and prove all the gay people wrong and all the mainstream psychological associations and biologists wrong. Do they think that during all the research and studies done in to homosexuality, that somehow all the professionals just forgot to look into the weak theory that people must choose who they go for? and seeing as were all super-humans we have complete control over who we are naturally attracted to, hence why you can easily pick and choose who you fall in love with....... (Note: that was sarcasm, sorry if that was a brain OVERLOAD for some).

If you're one, what makes you so arrogant that you think you know more than gay people about being gay and all the experienced qualified professionals who've studied sexuality?

I mean so many our being tortured.. starving kids, poverty etc... and than Christians say "Why should God...", well WHY the hell should he answer your prayers, HELP you get a date on a friday night, help you lose weight but leave so many to suffer. Why would he topple of your lives with small things and not end poeverty which millions of worser off people experience. God can do it, and the whole thing about "Why should he do it.." Is just crap... he loves us all...why would he answer your prayers but not those of so many who are really suffering... It leads me to the conclusion that he doesn't answer prayers. at all.

I'm allergic to wheat and yeast and it seems I have two choices A) eat very boring and repetitive food or B) stay in the kitchen all day

My parents are visiting from interstate next week, but we don't have a bed for them to sleep in. We have room to put a spare bed in, but we don't want to keep it set up.

Can you recommend a temporary bed that can be folded away/hidden/thrown out after use that they can reliably use for a few days? ie. one suggestion we had was an inflatable bed (I was warned they can puncture in the middle of the night).

I have been in a relationship for nearly 3 years now on and off. My boyfriend broke up with me a week ago because I lied about being picked up from a train station by a male friend. I lied at first and said I caught a bus because he has an issue with this male friend, but then told him the truth when I was challenged. He got really mad and said he couldn't trust me and that the relationship was over and not to call him. I know i was wrong, but to me it seems so trivial.

Within this week my ex boyfriend has been in contact with me said he wanted me back I for some stupid reason contemplated doing so until I found out that he tried to meet up with a friend (not close friend) of mine basically to have sex. I feel so stupid and let down by men. There's so much more to tell but I think I would send everyone to sleep if I haven’t already done so.
Any advice?

Come on..whos with me... who chews or picks thier fingers? Im not sure what it is but i do it ALL the time. i am always tellign myself "okay, you're done you sicko".... and do okay for about a day but then i notice a finger or two torn up or sometimes bleeding and i think " WHAT THE?? WHEN did i do THAT?

Haha. i swear.. im outta my mind... please tell me others have my problem???

any other habits you have that you just cant stop doing???
