If you're prone to anxiety and depression to the point you've contemplated suicide, why would you even want to go back in?
That thought alone would make me question letting you back in. Perhaps that may seem a little unsympathetic, but look at it from the military point of view. (1) It costs money for them to process you... every time you're processed. You've already cost them for that. (2) Military suicide rate is climbing. You might be one more statistic in the loss column. The military doesn't need that. (3) Let's say you make it in and get depressed and try to kill yourself. You represent a burden. There are guys coming back from Iraq in separate packages that they need to put together so they can live... and you're trying to kill yourself because you're depressed.

A history of suicidal ideation and anxiety is disqualifying for entry into all branches of the armed forces. Period! That's why the person was separated. That history is now clearly documented. So, entry into another branch is not possible.

depends on the RE code. if it is a 4, the chances are about Nil( Army national Guard is the only branch considering Re4 waivers on a case by case basis)

There is probably a reenlistment code, if they gave them a DD 214 that would tell you. It's probably better this person stay away from the military.

Air Force -almost 100%-no... even if you just seperate or finish your enlistment, they won't let you back in, they give most people only 1 shot now... but it never hurts to try

What is the RE code on his/her DD-214? That is the deciding factor on whether or not one can re-enlist.

Talk to a recruiter...a know a certian period of time has to have passed for any kind of "re-joining"...only they can really tell you for sure.
