So what makes them think that they're so unbelievably special that they've been able to figure out how homosexuality works and prove all the gay people wrong and all the mainstream psychological associations and biologists wrong. Do they think that during all the research and studies done in to homosexuality, that somehow all the professionals just forgot to look into the weak theory that people must choose who they go for? and seeing as were all super-humans we have complete control over who we are naturally attracted to, hence why you can easily pick and choose who you fall in love with....... (Note: that was sarcasm, sorry if that was a brain OVERLOAD for some).
If you're one, what makes you so arrogant that you think you know more than gay people about being gay and all the experienced qualified professionals who've studied sexuality?

see what your missing is that ignorant people are ignorant because they IGNORE information... they don't want knowledge or truth other than what supports their very narrow views... so there is NO amount of information that will change their ideas... I asked a question once "what if Jesus came back and said gay people are great...would you give up your bigotry" and I asked it of Christians... and they GRUDGINGLY ( if at all) said "I guess I'd have to BUT... "... they WANT something to be "against" ... they WANT to hate someone... and we're the special on the hate menu at this point in time...

Hi Christia - Don't you realize that you are wasting your good energy by what you have written.
People who are prejudiced, judge mental and fearful will never change their thinking because they think out of a small box. They never go outside the box, no matter what prove there is on any subject.
You have to be strong within yourself and not care what these ignoramus say.
I am a white, grandmother who has, through my lifetime had wonderful, intelligent, talented gay friends. I love them dearly and have had to put up with the kind of people you mention for many years. I have got to the point where I now feel very sorry for them. They do not enjoy life, they are unhappy, fearful and hateful. One cannot be a happy person under those circumstances.
Be proud of who you are, because I have never met a gay person yet that I didn't like, but I have met people like the ones you quote, and I just stay completely away from them and let them stew in their own hate.
for POLLYPRI - You talk about "gross". You my friend turn my stomach with your prejudice and hatefulness. Living your daily life, with the attitude you have, must be "gross" because I would have nothing to do with someone like you. You are not only gross you are a very crude person. How can you look at yourself in the mirror and smile. Oh wait, you probably never smile.

I'm bisexual...and I don't believe I was born bi...
My bisexualness was experienced as a teenager and as an ADULT, I came to accept the fact that throught my experimental years I enjoyed having sex with men.
Why is that difficult for some people to understand?

i decided to be gay, the day when my ex found out i was pregnant after he raped me at a party- drunk and high. he said 1 day before this...he knew he would love me and we would raise it together, so then 24 hrs later he must have thought it was nice when he tossed me down 3 flights of stairs and i lost the kid after that. so it was my choice never to go with a man again. but yes, i have had therapists tell me i need to get over being gay. whatever!
