I surf all the different categories, and every now and then I see an inappropriate question or answer in other categories. But in Politics, I'd estimate that half include profanity, insults, rudeness or other inappropriate content. I have my own opinions, which I often share, but I manage to do so without any of this nonsense. Are people really so inarticulate that they can't find words to express themselves that won't get them reported? Do people really imagine that they're going to influence anyone's opinion by calling them vile names? Or is this all just adolescent posturing?

ok so there were three old ladies their names were Ann, Carol,and Stacy. One day they thoght it might be fun to go bunji jumping off a mountain .So they went up on this mountain with their guide. "where is the bunji ropes",asked Ann. "there is none",said the guide"this is a magig mountain. you jump off and say something and you will turn into it." "ok ",said Ann.
Ann jumps off the mountain and says eagle and she turns into an eagle. Carol jumps off the mountain and says seagull and she flies away as a seagull. Stacy decides to take a running start ,trippes on a rock ,falls off and says OH CRAP

Ok I have four cats (and I love them) but one of them has long hair and I have a problem with gritty stuff in his hair. I think its flea poop but Im not sure. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of the stuff? I cant really bathe him becuase of his long hair (it will knot up). My mom found something that works kindof, she vaccums it out. But it scares the dat really bad and I think its kind of cruel. So if you have any ideas pleasem help. Also any ideas on keeping a kitten out of a christmas tree? Thanks

My husband and I are arguing about what minimum temperature to keep the house. I would like to put it as low as possible during the night because we are having some serious financial troubles. He insists we need to keep it high for our 7 year old. I don't want her to get sick. So what is the lowest we could possibly set it where there is no risk to our child...or pipes bursting.

If you're a true christian, why do you care what others think? Isn't the Faith in God the only thing that matter? Is your faith so weak that you cannot apply: "love your ennemies, do good to those who hate you"?

I think christians are an easy target and that says a lot about the weakness of their faith!

Is it worth falling in love while
working towards a career?...im 19, and worried about getting a stable career and good education..sometimes, i wonder how it is like to have a 'partner,' but i realized i tend to be 'obsessive' with crushes...so, i thought i cant be in a relationship while at school and starting a career...would it be ok to still have never been in a relationship at 30s? i figured theres so much to do, but i dont want to seem silly to have never been kissed by that age.....

I feel like my sister and I are slowly drifting apart. We have always had opposite personalities (my sister is the liberated party girl and I am the responsible goody-goody). We have had fights before, but recently our arguments seem to be getting serious. Sometimes I wonder if it is because I am jealous? Sometimes I blame it on the fact that some personalities really just do not jive. (For example, I hate how she flirts with guys all the time and brags about her many friends. She hates how I follow the rules and am just too conservative) Tough, huh? Sometimes I can't even stand looking at her. I dont know if I am mostly mad at her or jealous? I tried ignoring her, and maintaining the minimum amount of conversation. I felt that by doing that, I will be decreasing the possibility of engaging in another argument. I feel that our relationship is going nowhere - and fast. The thing is, its hard to be this way since we live in the same house.
