Yes they can and no they can't. It depends on where you live. It use to be No in my state but now they can as of very recently. I don't see why it matters much if your not doing anything wrong. If they feel good sneaking I say let them sneak. Sometimes I like to be sneaky to!!!

By the way I see just as many pull speeders over without hiding so who cares. The choice is made when you speed or follow the speed laws. What does it really matter who hides?

lol A criminal doesn't walk around with a criminal sign on their head I suppose its an equal war.

Hinney, get this......they can knock your doors in to catch you to. They can hand cuff your hands behind your back and they can lock you behind bars when your naughty.

Criminals can do simular...........who would you rather have around?? A cop sneaking to get a criminal or a criminal who a cop didnt catch?? Come on we all do something bad in some way. Be glad you weren't caught for all of it!

Sure, its not a trap. They are just sitting in a parked car on the same public access road that you chose to speed on. They post speed limit signs for a reason. If no sign, use common sense. If in a residential area do not go over 25. If in a business district, depending on the flow of traffic...don't go over 35. If its a school zone...keep it at 15.

No way, because that would be entrapment right? Just kidding, of course they can. When I work a traffic enforcement assignment, I put out a huge neon light that says, "Laser detection in progress, so don't speed". I don't know why I don't ever get to pull anyone.

Yes. Contrary to what many people think, that is not entrapment. It's perfecly legal.

Sure. As long as it doesn't endanger public safety, such as parking on a dimly lit rural road without a shoulder.

Of course they can. They do it all the time. Hide behind some trees with a radar gun and - gotcha.

yea they can. i got pulled over and the cop had his blue charger hidden behind a bush and he was hiding behind a pole with his radar gun. my instructor said a cop shouldnt hide because their jobs arent to sneak and get you but you got to get speeders somehow. its also funny to see the cars slam on their breaks because they were going 20over the limit
