I know that Winter Solstice occurs December 20/21 etc
I can't find anywhere online that states how much time we gain back. There have been people who have mentioned its about a few mintues each day after the Solstice but I am not sure.

Can't wait for the day light to come back! This 4pm and it is dark already thing is really a drag ;)

I went to New York City for the 1st time about 2 years ago and visited Ellis Island. I myself am adopted from Korea and fully realize the opportunities growing up in the U.S. has given to me. I'm very grateful for that and believe in the "American drean." I was so moved standing there on Ellis Island thinking of how many people came through there with all their hopes and dreams of making their lives better in America.

I'm all for LEGAL immigration. Our country was based on a cultural mix and it's in our best interest to maintain that heritage. But I find it incredible how much people feel sorry for and support illegal immigrants to the point of pressuring politicians to give them rights, letting them drive, paying for medical expenses, etc. They are here ILLEGALLY. What part of illegal do people not understand? The U.S. has a proper way of going about becoming a citizen. People who get away with coming here illegally are slapping others in the face who come here legally

Who has a more crapper day then me..?

I go to court cause I am suing the guy that my daughterknows because he kicked in my front door and I had to have it replaced..

She is next door seeing the father of her baby in jail. (Yippie). Well she comes over to the court house when she is done and when she goes through security they go though her purse and find POT!!

Now weather I think pot is good or bad is NOT the issue.. At the moment it is ILLEGAL ...

Since she is on probation this is a violation of it and has been given 10 days in detention..

I am taking care of the baby while she is in.. Which means NO SLEEP for me because I work midnight and am training for a new job during the day..

Thank GOD for day care some of those days. BUT on the week end.. It is me and him and NO sleep.

Okay, so I have a girlfriend, and I really love her. she loves me too. she lives in Boston, and I live in Pennsylvania. She's native american/european. im african american/hawain. she's 5'8 and im 5'6. we're pretty different from each other. my school has 4,300 kids. her school has 7 kids. we get to see each other twice a year. we're both juniors in high school. i love her so much, and i wanna make it work, but its pretty difficult. i get mixed emotions sometimes when i think about her. but she's been there for me ever since we met and i love her. any suggestions on how to keep our relationship going strong. she is my everything. i would hate to loose her again, cuz it already happened once. its a challenge to stay faithful and focused, but i still do, its just wearin' me out, but i still want to be with her. any suggestions, ideas or opinions. sorry for the long description. and i really need your honest opinions on things i could do. thanks, and the best answer WILL be chosen.

Step daughters husband is a DRUNK,drup abuser, and just won't work!!! They left town 6 months ago, w/10K, went broke, sold most of their stuff, and now think they're moving back home w/her MOM &I. We are finacilly broke, barley making ends meets, I can't stand this bum, I've never seen him sober, won't work more than 2 weeks, he's 30yrs old, I've had enough, I could give you details, but won't, enough is enough!! This may cost me a marriage, complete fincial ruins, I'm too old for this crap. AM I WRONG?!?!?!?
