i think the lakers can be better than the suns if they can continue to play the way they have been playing lately. the lakers have been played great basketball. they have been spreading the ball around the floor so that everyone can get involved. they are breaking down the defense and kobe and taking shots when necessary. kobe is playing his best team basketball right now since shaq left. another thing is the lakers are playing lock-down defense. if you saw the game today against the pistons. you know kobe was playing lock-down defense on hamilton. farmar was stealing the ball. they have been agressive. and this year it seems to be more consistent. i believe the lakers can possible be a 4 seed if they keep playing great defense and spreading the floor.

So long as Kobe is Kobe, the Lakers are at very best, a second round playoff elimination team. Call them a 7 or 8 seed...

they are a 7/8th seed. over the course of an 82 game season, the top teams will start to separate from the lakers. dallas,sa,phx, houston, utah, denver will all have better records than LA. and at this rate so will the hornets. its a 3 team california battle for the 8th seed between the toe nail clippers, warriors, lakers.

I think the laker are going to the playoffs this year they have a well built team. and with one of the greatest basketball players on their team. So i think they are going to be a good team this year. Just enough to get them to the playoffs with Kobe doing a quarter of the work. not all of the work like last year Kobe did all the work. so my thoughts on them are they are going to be a good team this year.

Tool early to tell.
But the game tonight was great.
I know the Pistons didn't have Billups, but we didn't have Runny T as well...we were fair and square.
But yeah....to early to tell. Let just hope no one will get hurt!
