There is probably a school dance or some other social function tonight. You should go to it. Very seriously, you should consider going.

To answer your questions:
1) I'm not sure who will be on our side, but if Bush starts it we will most likely be on the side of evil.
2) WW III will have to be nuclear, otherwise things won't progress to WW III.
3) I will say the enemy will be Iran. Bush is currently using them to try to scare us. At first I thought it can't be Iran because if they are nuked, how can we steal their oil? But that shouldn't be a problem, as there are plenty of poor people that Bush will trick to go in there for a decent job - they'll get the oil first, then die of cancer - of course with no health insurance or medical care.
4) Right now the biggest threat is Pakistan. They have nuclear weapons and are unstable. If the fundamentalists take control and get the bomb we are all in big trouble.
5) I don't know enough about our air defenses, maybe we have to blow Pakistan up first before they get us, except that probably starts WW III, not to mention killing a billion or more people who are mostly innocent. Maybe if India attacks Pakistan to protect themselves we can stay out of it and about 2-2.5 billion people will die over there but we will be safe.
6) I would suggest living in Kansas, or somewhere in the middle of the U.S., away from any large cities. The big cities on both coasts are going to be the main targets, and anything within a few hundred miles away will probably be radioactive. I'm sure other parts of the country will be bombed also, so no place is assured of safety, but your best chances are in low population areas in the middle of the country. The low population also gives you have a better chance of getting in your car and driving away quickly from the radiation if the bomb hits 100 miles away from your home.
I live in Queens, NY, and escaping from anywhere within 50-75 miles of New York, Philadelphia, Washington D.C., and Baltimore will be almost impossible with all the gridlock when the entire surviving population of the northeast has to evacuate so they don't die from the radiation.

The United States has the most technologically advanced military in the World. The biggest, richest, companies are in the United States are make huge money designing and building equipment for the Gov't. Think of it this way. We built the atomic bomb in the 40's. Sixty Years later some of our enemies cant do that. One Aircraft Carrier has more airpower then entire countries. We have 14 and Britain the next closest has 3. and China doesnt have any. The US is looking to militarize space and no other country has that capability. Our threats dont come from countrys because no single country could oppose us. But from terrorsist, in order to establish ourselves as world power we are constantly building new offensive and defensive weapons. The US is the greatest country in the world for reason.

I doubt many people will survive a nuclear exchange. As for our allies I think maybe Albania will be on our side. As for the enemies it'll be pretty much the other 130+ countries in the world against us. The anti-ballistic missle shield is a joke, and most if not all of the missle's will make it through.
I suggest moving to New Zealand if you want to survive.

When the first atomic bomb was dropped there was some debate in the Allied scientific community as to whether it would work as intended, or whether it would work and incinerate the atmosphere at the same time. However, there was evidence that the Nazis were also working on an atom bomb, so the decision was made that if the whole of humanity was to be extinguished, it would be better if the Allies did it than the Nazis. I'm not sure political thinking has progressed much over the last sixty years.

the biggest threats to america are russia, and china. both are nuculear, both are becomming agressive, and starting to talk big nasty talk about america. There are other threats, but we can take them down very easily, the problem is that if we do, Russia and china may try to stop us, and life will get bad.
It very well could go nuculear.
However as bad as that is, The threat I see as being more immediate is that muslims are comming across our southern boarder along with mexicans. I believe both of them are comming to claim lives and property in america. I could see them bringing neculear material into the country, or at least attacking us on our home land. I know someone who lives in the southern united states, she says musilms are comming over the boarder by the busloads and comming into our country and they are not friendly.
We have to close off our boarders. ANd our polititions in washington are not willing to do it. But they have to, it may allready be to late

In WW3 there will be sporadic attacks in the US (mostly large cities) most of the fighting will either be done in the Middle East or mainland Europe.
As for allies and enemies, Europe will join us but everyone else its a toss up.
Nuclear weaponry will defiantly be used be confined to the core fighting areas like the Middle East and India/Pakistan area.

No mate sorry unless you followed Paul's advice and moved to New Zealand. But thinking about it Australia would be nuked for being friends with USA and as NZ is only 2500kms to the east the fallout would drift there, sorry but you wouldn't survive there either

Right if England got in a nuclear war (which it would probably b ) we would be on the Americans side cos they got big missiles (more than anyone else) and it would probably be most Russia against us with its friends.
the best place to lay low is probably Hawaii

World war three?
don't fret about the future, live in the moment.
You can't really predict wars, anything can happen really. If there is another war, I think it will not be nuclear. Been there, done that.
