do you look to see if they have a phone or a watch......if they do , do you find it weird.....have you realized guys do that very often? why do they do that?

This is what I'm using my limited photographic skills for. I'm a surrealist painter, now branching into graphic (mostly just for fun). i need the diesel gauge fixing on my car (vw passat) dont have a clue where to go as a normal garage wont fix it, they say its an electrical problem. (seems stupid to me. they are a garage!)

I prefer cans, but some gas stations around here only sell them in bottles. you have to buy a 12 or 8 pack to get the cans.

I have a 4 bed family-type home that i am re-decorating. The family bathroom has the airing cupboard and hot water tank in it. We are due to replace the whole bathroom suite but wondered whether it would be worth getting rid of the tank, getting a combi boiler and having a seperate shower cubicle? Is having a shower over the bath off putting to family buyers? I haven't got a family so would appreciate the comments. I am wondering whether it will be worth all the mess etc.?

I know you can remove a broken off bulb with a carrot or potato but I have no vegetables handy. I do have a stale cruller would that work? There is a bit of the glass still sticking out and if I wait till morning I might be able to get a fresh bagel from Mrs. Goldberg in 2A and remove it that way.
