Sorry, dont try to be negative, but you have to go prepared :) for anything.
They check the income of your parents or sponsors.

Only reason for these interviews is to see if (1) you are really going to the US for the reasons you state; and (2) you are going to leave the US when your time is up.
For this they have to believe that you want to study in the U.S., you won't work in the US illegally, and that you have enough ties (no family in the US, money in the bank, etc.) to your home country that you will return after your visa is up.
What ever the questions are, just prove that to them and youre in.

Hello, good luck and thats very admorable. First you have to have a reason for comming here, or going where you plan to go. You want to show then you plan to work hard and be productive and you think you can make a difference where others have failed. You want to impress that you have the mature mentality that you can accomplish whatever you set your mind to do. Show them how you've studied up on the land your planning to visit, their problems, culture, language arts, history, government, health care, unemployment, job market. The last thing they want is another person the government has to feed. Bring your accomplishments, degree, studies, certificates anything showing you've been working on this for awhile, and are heading in the right direction. Show them this has been your course for awhile and you will not be detered from it. Show them how you worked out a two year plan, five year, 10 years from now where your exspecting to be. Show them how you plan to support yourself. Anybody can ask to go anywhere, but how many people seek help in asking for permission, a chance to go and make a difference, in a foriegn land. Thats unique, who wouldn't want you? I wish you the best of luck, follow your dreams.

U should have a basic idea of US geography, like how many states are there and approx where they are, and US politics like who is President, but mostly they would like to see if you are honest and not at all a security risk, they tightened that part after 9/11. U should also be relatively bright if u want a student visa. And u should have enough money to comfortable last your stay there. They might ask u a lot of seemingly stupid questions that u might not be able to answer, but that is just part of testing, dont worry. Good luck.
