How can people say this country was founded on Christian ideals when Ben Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Thomas Paine, and James Madison all denounced Christianity?

I am a freelance photographer.. A gentleman from the next town over has hired me to do some headshots to use in his advertising (He's a real estate agent). He and I have been e-mailing back and forth setting up the appointment and figuring out what exactly he needed to get out of his session with me. He's been very kind and easygoing- and has already pre-payed for his session through my website.

Tonight, I received an e-mail from him telling me how much he's "looking forward" to his appointment with me and asking if he could take me to dinner after our session to "repay me for being such a good sport" through his several appointment postponements.

I think he's wanting a date- I'm not sure. I'm happily married and not at all interested. My photo is on the "about me" page on my website, and I didn't think anything at the time, but he did mention that I looked "Young and pretty" a few days ago.

How do I get out of this one?

I was not surprised to read of all the problems surrounding this book. I would NOT read it myself, something about it did NOT RING TRUE , I don't like self help books like that anyway. Has anyone else felt NEGATIVE about this book, especially when it came out?

im married and im having problems in my marriage and i starting seeing this guy at work and i told him about what was going on in my marriage and he understood and well we went out and we spent the night to gether then the told me i was his first and i was suprised but after we keept seening each other and he started acting funny and a few months passed and i found out he was trying to date other girls at our job i talk to these girls and he denyed being with me im so hurt he wont talk to me and thought i dont work there any more it does not stop me from loving him wht do i do how do i get closure when he wont talk to me i feel like im dying in side when i think of him i get sick when ppl talk abt him i cry i hate this i dnot know wht to do how do i stop loving some one dat does not love me how do i let him go. my marrage is over and i told him all of that and still he did this to me. how can i be in love with someone who does not love me whats wrong with me?

hello, i join the army on jan 29 2003 with a contract of 3 years and around may of 2004 i re-enlisted for a 5 year contract until 2009 but in april 2005 i got in trouble and got discharge with a bad conduct discharge. but i hear a rumor that once u reenlist u get a honorable discharge for that time u have already done..so my question is if i still get my gi bill benefits for the time i did before i renlisted?

I have a question about Medical Insurance for my mother. My Father just passed away at age 61 and before he died, my parents had the best Medical Coverage because my dad had a civil service job. He didn't pay a dime into it and only paid $2 per prescription. These jobs are hard to come by. We figured that my mother takes anywhere from $500-800 a month in prescriptions. I was wondering if there are any programs out there to alleviate these costs. My Mother is 56 years old and cannot collect any social security until she is over 60 and cannot get on Medicaid until she is 65. Can someone help me solve this nightmare problem?
