Job 26:17 says the Earth is suspended on nothing. How could a man living in that era know this? many cultures in that time had different beleives about how the earth stood in the universe. But, only the inspired word of God tells us the truth because after all, he is the creator.

and what about this Job 28:25 states that air has weight. recent science has confirmed this but it was centuries after God had revealed this.

They are christians who adhere strictly to the bible, word for word. Other people use what they want from the bible and pretend the other stuff isn't there. I almost respect those psycho, brainwashed people.
I bet most christians don't agree with the Westboro Baptist church and the disgusting things they do. Isn't that the same as not agreeing with the old testament? If you follow the new testament, when did god come back, and why didn't anyone see him?

The dumbing-down of America's youth is in full swing . A poll of NYU students indicates the utter nonsense and irresponsibility of the majority of our youth . Misguided , ill-informed and irresponsible . Not entirely the kids fault though . As you will see in the attached news story , even one of their teachers is nuts enough to think that selling one's vote is somehow an 'admirable' quality . Read this poll and then I'd appreciate your comments .

According to the report, a survey of 3,000 students conducted by an NYU undergraduate journalism class found that an overwhelming majority of those polled said their right to vote could be for sale; in addition to the 66 percent who said they'd trade their vote for a free year of college, 20 percent said they'd exchange their vote for an Ipod Touch. Half of the students polled said they'd forfeit their right to vote forever for $1 million.

Dalton Conley, chairman of NYU's sociology department, told Politico.com that the results are actually encouraging. The high price tag most students put on their vote showed that they actually think the right to vote is very valuable and important.

HI--we adopted an 11 mo. old cat from the shelter 5 days ago. We have had her in the basement and she is was doing okay---we introduced her over to the main floor for an hr or so over the last couple of days---we took her to the vet for her check up yesterday(all is fine)--but since then she is SO SCARED and refuses to come upstairs...when she was up here the last couple of times--she got scared form the phone....mirrors--all the action on the main floor...now when we bring her up she hides--runs down stairs. When we open the basement door she will never come up,etc. Should we continue to encourage--carry her up or just let some time go by? I feel so bad to just leave her in the basement and we can't spend all day down there. Thank you

Jesus came with the resources to set apart what is right from what is wrong. To teach us the law, are made up law's that are by man in the town's and in city's {No} His law's! But He even had a greater plan beyond that, He came to save us from ourselves. To die for us. Jesus did what we couldn't do. He conquered death. We owe all we have to Him. That is why your suppose to give in the offering part of your pay check what is due to God. Look what God did for us. Amen! We should be Honored to do so, but lots of times were just to greeedy, me included. Their is not 1 person who has not been greedy with their money. We all have done what we shouldn't but what it should do is inspire us to want to improve. Let me ask you who has dione any fishing this week? I know the news is doing it's job and news is news but why would we want everyone to know about these issues. Shouldn't these things be taken care of internally? Why would the FBI release this? Isn't this just saying "Hey terrorists, you can get whatever you want on a plane here in the US", or "come use your Anthrax here, you'll kill thousands and we couldn't stop it."?

I am having trouble deciding on where to spend Thanksgiving. I was given 2 tickets to attend the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving game. The seats are on the 45yd line, 9 rows from the field; however, last month, I informed my family that I I would fly home to enjoy Thanksgiving with them.
