I had a broken heart when I broke up with my first girlfriend. We had been together for seven months and decided to part ways. It was a little confusing because it wasn't broken off in a definite way. So my heart was torn between wanting to try to keep it alive and giving it up. There was just a sense of heaviness on me all the time. It would fill my thoughts constantly, especially at night. It took a month or two to really get over it, but it finally did subside.

About a year ago when I learned that my bf was with someone else the whole time we were dating and him telling me he loves me and wants a relationship. Second chances don't work out, it wasn't due to his lack of efforts in making up for things, it is because once trust is broken, it can never be repaired. It is a heartbreak so terrible that it caused me this fear that every man is as callous as him.

When I was 14. It was actually physically painful. I felt as if there was never a time that I could love someone so completely again. Since I am happily in love now, I guess I got over it.

Interesting that this is considered a heart disease. I'm not exactly sure when the first time was, but I'm sure I was very young.

My heart is breaking right now. There's no loneliness worse than when you're in a relationship and you're lonely.
