the idea is the hard part, so congratulations!
One of the best methods for creating a site, whether you know much about it or not is through a company called Site-build-it
the cost includes a lot like your website name (domain) and hosting etc but it's their support forums and clear step by step guide that is really good for building websites.
You do it yourself, at your own pace. One of my friends is using this and suggested I try it, but I am still trying to come up with a good idea for a site :-) But from what I have read and what my friend told me, I am eager to try it.
