First of all, let me say, my husband is a wonderful man and father and I appreciate everything he does. BUT he is a huge clean freak and is constantly getting upset when anything is out of place. We just had a baby in May and I have gone back to work. We both work full time jobs, and share most of the household responsiblities. However when anything doesn't get done he gets so stressed out. I am a fairly good housekeeper, I try to pick up after myself and I always make sure the kitchen/dishes are clean. We have had a few fights because he gets upset that the laundry piles up. I told him I would make an effort to do better, and not to nag me so much. He is upset again because the laundry is behind (and he has done most of it this week). Instead of nagging me he is just pouting. What should I do....I'm going crazy! I stay on top of the other things, bills, cooking, shopping, the kitchen, taking care of the baby. I don't know what to say to him? Is this fair?

i have a website that creates reports (pdf files). these are temporary files and need to be removed. i wrote an exe that loops infinetaly and erases temp files older then 15 minutes. the problem is that when my program is running, the cpu usage goes to 100% and the website almost goes to a hold.
please sugest other ways to erase temp files without killing the cpu.
i had 2 ideas:
1) check for old temp files only when a user logs in
2) write a batch file that calls the exe to remove temp files. i havent written batch files with loops in a long time and don't know how it will effect cpu usage.

1- Isaiah 40:22 is claiming that the Earth is a flat circle.

2- Isaiah 40:22 is claiming that the Earth has a circle above it.

If we were to take condition #1, then we are left with a clear and irrefutable contradiction between Isaiah 40:22 and some of the other bible verses , because a flat circle doesn't have "four corners", and ironically in either case, we still have a scientifically false claim about the Earth's shape.

IF we were to take condition #2, then it doesn't prove that the Earth is an egg-shaped figure, and Isaiah 40:22 surely becomes irrelevant to this subject.

One thing is for sure clear, and that is Isaiah 40:22 is obviously ambiguous and not clear if we wish to prove from it that the Earth is not flat and is egg-shaped. If we look at what the entire Bible says (as presented above by all the Verses) about the shape of the Earth as the Roman Catholic Church did in the past, then we would reach the same conclusion they reached, and that is: The Earth is Flat!

Jeremiah 16:19

So would you say that the bible says the earth is flat based on these verses.

I am watching an 18 month old and her teeth are just awful. She was a sever premie and I don't know if that's what has contributed to her teeth or lack of care. Should I mention it to her parents or not say anything because it's not like she's my child? Her teeth are yellow and if you tap them with the spoon on accident she squeals in pain and won't finish eating.

Sometimes it does this, sometimes it doesn't. But it does it enough so that it's going around that we are all going to have to pitch in to buy a new one. I can't afford that, and I can't go job searching right now so I hoping this can be fixed.

You put in a time and press start. The microwave works but then shuts off after about 8 or 10 seconds. It took 6 tries to get my oatmeal cooked this morning. What would cause a microwave to shut off after about 8 or 10 seconds repeatedly? But not always?

She pretended to be my friend and acted like she wanted to help me see my boyfriend who I can't see anymore. So we arranged it like we were going to the mall to go shopping but she was really just dropping me off at my boyfriend's family's beach house and she was going to come back to get me in a couple of hours. Instead my mom comes in an hour and said that Vanessa, my stepsister, told her that I abandon her at the mall when I saw my boyfriend adn went back to his place! And it looked really bad too since I wasn't wearing my clothes and I was just wearing one of his shirts since we had just went swimming in our underwear. of course she assumed the worse and I'm punished again! I still can't believe she betrayed me like this! Now, I want to pound her! What should I do? Hit her or plot some sort of revenge?

Hey all,

Last week i found something strange on my left testicle, near the top. It feels like a piece of thick skin-like string with a ball on the end.

I went to my GP and he checked me out and said everything was fine and that it was my seminiferous tubules. He said there was one on the right testicle but it was significantly smaller than the left one at the moment.

I was just wondering if anyone could explain what is actually happening with the seminiferous tubules, as i didn't get the chance to ask my GP and would like to know as i am studying Biology.

A simple question. Usually in the debate over the ontological existence of god(s), the Flying Spaghetti Monster is invoked as a symbol of the unreasonableness of both faith and agnosticism.

One of my own agnostic friends usually tends to dismiss the objection via "Argument ad Absurdum" - and chalks it up as a grandstanding/psychological tactic.

I just wanted to get all of your takes on this - ie: Why hasn't the FSM idea moved you away from Agnosticism?

On a person note: I'm not invested in the matter either way, just curious as to what the responses would be like.
