They are going together. I am driving them, waiting in the parking lot and driving them home. Both girls are responsible and mature and both have cell phones and will text message me to let me know they are ok.

I am in the process of being served papers for possible child endangerment because of this which is why I posed the question. It was not foolish to put the venue, as that was necessary information to include. And hellooo... among the thousands of kids there a pedophile is going to seek out these 2 particular girls! People, let's get real! The news is ENTERTAINMENT! I forgot to mention that both girls are extremely athletic - 1 plays varsity soccer. These are not girly girls!

No way. The 16 year old - MAYBE, if I dropped her off and picked her up myself. But that would be iffy depending on the individual child. But a 13 year old?? Definitely not.

Not familiar with that particular venue, but I suppose it's possible that I would depending on the circumstances.
That's a pretty "kiddy" concert, so I wouldn't be as concerned about some things associated with more hard-core concerts, but I'd still be wary about pedophiles hanging out there just because of the kid element. If the 16 year old is VERY responsible, if they have cell phones, if they have very specific instructions for when/where to drop off & pick up, and if you feel that the venue itself is a safe enough environment, you could consider it. It would help if you knew another adult that was attending separately (friend of a friend, whatever) that you could use as an emergency contact just as a precaution.

Definitely! No questions asked. :) They sound responsible.

1) The 16 year old will be with the 13 year old, and if she's responsible, what is the problem?
2) It's not like Hannah Montana is some hardcore concert or anything, the crowd will consist of 9 year old girls with their moms. There's no tailgating, moshpits, etc.

I would say only with supervision since your 13 year old daughter would be going. I don't know why so many people don't belive that they wouldn't like Hannah Montana or sombody will tell their daughter that Hannah Montana is stupid and they would be stupid if they went. So what if your kids like Hannah Montana, it's their choice and they should be able to like whoever they want(as long as the person's appropriate). My aunts kids who are 13 and 17 both like Hannah Montana. But just to let you know, Hannah Montana concert tickets are VERY expensive! I've heard they're like $200. But if it's not a problem that they're expensive I say let them go to the concert but go with them.

If the kids were good kids, and you established rules that they MUST stay together at all times, I would let them do go together. To be even safer, I'd check if they could text message me every hour. I'd probably also sit in the parking lot for the whole concert to be absolutely sure that they didn't have to stand around waiting for a ride after the concert if I got stuck in traffic.

(HM tickets are so exorbitant that I'd rather put the price of a parental ticket into their college funds (LOL).)

I would think the 13 is a little young and the 16 yr old? Well that depends on how mature she is. I dont think there are certain age limits to everything, sometimes it depends on how trustworthy and mature a child is. Anywhere you go things can happen but would they know what to do if.... And would they have a cell phone with them?

in this case. Yes. Its Hannah Montana. The audience will be between the ages of 5 and 10. Just drop them off and pick them up.

Now if it was a My Chemical Romance concert like the one i went to. NO NO NO.

13 year olds and 16 year olds like Hannah Montana? And probably not. I would let the 16 year old, but not the 13 year old. I've been to that place too. I would be nervous.

In the comfort of your own home dear. No offense, but nowhere does piercings without parental consent. Plus, you're 13, and in the "scene kid" crowd. Been there, done that. You'll grow out of it, I promise. Don't try do pierce yourself because you'll end up with a raging infection, just saying. Keep yourself safe from that stuff.

As long as the 16 year old has experience with concerts, and large functions, she/he has a cell phone. I would let them go. I am not familiar with the venue, but as long as its not Camden or Jersey city, I think they will be ok. We have to let our kids grow up.

i would have to say no. if the 13 yr old was in high school also or one was 18 then maybe but 13 and 16 are too young. That show isn't going to be bad but the fact that there are many sickos in this world who go to shows like that just to take kids. i mean if u r the parent that would have to go and u don't want to then tell them they can't go, see if u can find a different supervisor who wouldn't mind going, or last just go and deal with it for a few hours.
