I thought Y2K was the end of the world. I thought June 06, 2006 was the end of the world (06/06/06). I thought the world was suppose to end in 2012. How could it be in May 2008 then? And this was led by a man with schizophrenia. What is wrong with people. Is the whole group psychos too? They should be instated into mental assylums.

The last time the world ended was on January 1st, 2000. Remember Y2K? Everyone has a theory on when it's gonna end for one reason or another, but no one knows when the world will end and no one will know until it actually happens.

I'd like to see real proof of this end of the world. It's a damn cult, these people are crazier than you'd like to know. Everyone has something to say about it but when the time comes, what will they say when we ask about this end?

There are millions of Christians around the World, we don't all believe this nonsense. We are simply supposed to live as though the end is nigh and Jesus is coming back soon. In other words to live a good and considerate life, respecting God and our fellow man.

When the millennium was approaching my 5 year old daughter came home from church, she had gone with my husbands parents, she was crying. I asked her what was wrong. She said to me that you and daddy are going to burn in hell and be dammed. I said WHAT! She told me that in church they were saying that the world was ending when the millennium came and all who were not "saved" would burn for eternity. So I will say now what I said then, The world is not going to end, quit listening to crazy people talk. And his parents got an earful from me for exposing my impressionable 5 year old daughter to non-sense.

"Izvestia newspaper said the leader of the cult, Pyotr Kuznetsov, had been detained by police. It said he was a 43-year-old who had been diagnosed with schizophrenia and that in the last few months he had been sleeping in a coffin."

A mentally ill Christian. Who would've thought lol

They should just wait until June 1st 2008 and ask if they're coming out of the cave then.

No.

Throughout history, there have been countless people preparing for the world's end on such-and-such a date.

They've all been wrong.

I'm making plans for June, 2008.

It seems to me a lot of these so called world ending dates come and go. So far they have all passed without the world actually being destroyed. If one of these predictions did come true, I guess we would all be too dead to congratulate them on their successful prophecy.
