If fast food is so bad for you why do they want to give you more?

I ate a Whopper the other day and I could actually taste the bun.

I believe do to early conditioning we grow to love bad food.Its like learning to enjoy cigarettes.

I really like this girl's personality and enjoy talking to her, but I'm only attracted to her once in awhile. She has naturallly curly, frizzy hair (which I am just simply not a fan of) but she straightens it every once in awhile, which looks drastically better on her. I wish she would just get it permanently straightened, how do I politely tell her to do so without coming off as an rude jerk?

I am a freshman in college and I have been living on campus with a roommate for 4 months. For the most part, I get along with her. She recently told me that she is PREGNANT! How am I going to deal with that? I know I won't be able to handle that. She is already starting to have mood swings and insists that I should do more chores around the dorm when she is the one who is completely messy! My parents are spending way too much money for my education and I am way to focused on school to have to put up with this situation. Am I being insensitive? Should I talk to my RA about possibly moving out? I'm sorry but I do not think I should be the one considering housing arrangements. I did not ask to have a pregnant roommate.

This is not a religious bashing question...

Ok, so I know that most Christians, among a few other religions believe in the Armageddon...
And that it is going to happen within the next few centuries...
Along with the Second Coming, and the Bowl Judgements

But what if several centuries from now, or milleniums even... what if he doesnt come?
Will you still believe? Will you still have faith in your religions?

Not that it is proof against a GOD, but it just goes to show that Humanity can be wrong at many times in their reign...

I am an Athiest, but I just wondered what your thoughts are on this situation...

My girlfriend of 7 months now, was feeling down because her ex (who she dumped and chose me) is getting engaged!, i wanted to know why she feels down especially she is with me know, and she shoudlnt care, she said "We were supposed to get married by this time, but it didnt work out, and i know i love u but he is my past and he affect me in a way", well she says he was enganged too soon, and she was shocked esp. after he told her that she is the greatest girl in the world and he will never marry after her......is that normal?, help me figure out what is happening?

I was involved in a car accident over the weekend- I was making a left hand turn with a green arrow on to the highway and this guy blew through his red light and t-boned me going about 45mph. Needless to say the car was toatled and I was pretty sore and I told the police officer and he asked if I wanted to go to the hospital- I was out of state and I didn't know anything about where I was and had no family close so I refused and signed a release from the ambulence stating that I wouldn't go to the hospital. Now 4 days later I have HORRIBLE back pain- no joke I can't even sit up straight- I am going to the chiropractor tomorow but my question is- If the chiropractor finds some damage (which I'm sure he will) am I still able to sue the guy that hit me even though I refused medical attention at the scene? I guess its important to say that we have the same insurance company and that the other driver was sited for running a red light and causing an accident- i wasn't at fault at all.

Riding in the car with my sister, I looked down at my arm, thought of the trillion cells working together to make up my arm. I thought about my brain and my mind and thought, I am too sophisticated to just have come from the evolution. My mind and body works too well for me to have come primordial soup, or whatever they are coming up with now. It just does not make sense. I announced that to my sister, I said, "I don't think we came from monkeys." She answered with, "Well that settles that." And you know what? It does. I don't see how anyone can think that we came up from little micro organisms to fish to whatever. I also really don't any point or argument that can make me change my mind. It just seems so obvious. Who else feels this way?
