My husband has an Aunt named Natasha, and I don´t hear this very often.

I loaned a friend $13,500 to buy a motorcycle. $8,500 was done through financing through HSBC, I put $3,000 of the amount on a credit card, and I added $1,800 in a cashier's check. He hasn't made a payment in 30 days, and the original interest rate of 5% is going up to 17%. If I have a promissory note (which he signed) stating that he is to pay me $500 each month, will that help me if I have to go to court?

No matter what I do..i just can't burp. Yeah i know im a girl..but i just can't. I can drink gallons of rootbeer...nothing. I can feel the air coming up, but nothing happens.

Please only answer this if you are positive of the answer. I am in Honors Physics. I need help with my homework dealing with Resonanve and Standing Waves. The first question is exactly this:
The speed of sound is 340 meters per second ^2. If one piece of a cut straw is 0.15 m in length what is the wavelength of the standing wave in the straw when the bottom hole of the straw was NOT covered?

What was the frequency of that wave?

What was the wavelength of the standing wave inside the tube when the bottom hole WAS covered?

Can someone please help me with these 3 problems? From there, I should be fine, but I just need help on the first couple. Thank you.

My 2 year old daughter went to stay with her Nanny for a week and now she's back home she won't go to sleep alone, she screams and screams. Nanny has just transfered her from a travel cot to a big bed although she slept fine in her big bed at home. My daughter also has a cold. When she screamed nanny let her sleep with my husband until she fell asleep and then put her back into her bed. Now everytime I put her to bed she screams and asks me to lie next to her and to hold her hand, which I do until she falls asleep.
She was away for so long as my husband takes her to visit for 1 weekend a month but also had to stay on working in London which is where nanny lives. I live in Devon.
Do you think she's scared incase she's taken away from me again? We are very close and spend all day together. Do you think this a phase and is there anything I can do to reassure her?

right most of the time, especially when on my own which i like to be alot. i feel down and hate myself and the way my life and the world is. im very paranoid and always think the worst and always think people are lieing to me. i always think to myself, whats the point in life its just aload of downers and hurt. my oppionion on people is that they are selfish cruel people that can't be trusted and out of the population about 10% of people are not cruel and genuine. i was abused as a child and i think this may be a cause for depression although i don't think about it if you know what i mean?. all my family suffer with deprssion also. other times i think i have no rite 2 b down there are millions of people with a million times worse lives than me so how dare i complain. im not asking for sympathy i just want to know if i have a problem and how to get rid of it?. most people i have spoke to never feel like me. to other people im just a clown so they dont have a clue. is it normal?

Long story short. Ive kept in touch with a really cool guy I met in college. We became friends. I always had a small crush on him but always respected his life. I've seen him through his marriage, first and second child. I thought that things were going great in his marriage. I just got off the phone with him and out of the blue he says. We are soul mates. He says that we should have been married years ago. Hes funny, creative, and boy is he handsome! He just threw me. Why would he plants these seeds? He wants to meet. but I cant for fear of what i know will happen. Sounds lame I know!! Im still reeling. Once again why would he plant those seeds?????
