My favorite tradition is going to Christmas Eve mass with my family. I have been doing that since as far as I can remember. After that we celebrate and the anticipation for Christmas day grows and grows. My oldest will be 3 in December so I am going to start a new tradition this year. We will bake a Birthday cake for Jesus and sing happy birthday! I want my kids to know the true meaning of Christmas...
Favorite movie...The Christmas Story... of course!

Growing up our tradition was to open one gift on Christmas Eve.
I am keeping that going with my kids. Plus I am taking one of my husband's tradition's to keep going and we started 2 of our own. His tradition is to set up the manger scene. The 2 we started was to go out as a family and buy a new ornament for the tree and to build a gingerbread house together as a family.
As far as movies go it isn't Christmas without seeing How the Grinch Stole Christmas and A Christmas Story.
