Do you think that diabetes will ever be cured? And if so, how and when? A friend of mine has had diabetes all his life and I feel sorry for him, so I decided to ask this question to see what people think.

Recently our physics class tried an experiment in class where we measured impulse by having a cart slide off a basically frictionless ramp that's inclined. The cart hits a spring which is attached to a force sensor. We let the cart collide, and then stop the cart and watch the force sensor record the force vs. time graph.
We get the usual impulse peak, but immediately after that there are some really small bumps on the graph, and after that the graph levels out and has a slope of 0 again.
What do these bumps indicate, because this is happening after the cart has already gotten off the spring? How does this affect the momentum of the system?

I developed a new hearing protection system for dogs to help calm them during thunderstorms. It's a very lightweight terrycloth headband type device with foam inside. It straps around the dog's head and attaches with velcro underneath. There's also foam ear pads that rest comfortably just outside the ear canal. The headband wraps over the ears and keeps the ear pads in place. The combination of the ear pads and foam headband greatly reduces the noise intensity.
It works great on my dog but looking for feedback from others.
It is pending patent but not available for sale quite yet.
And no, it's nothing like MuttMuffs...not even close. My price isn't close either;-)

I asked this question before but now am really unsure. I have no prior experience as a dispatcher whatsoever. I went to observe last night for a few hours and really liked it. It is good money...18/hr plus opportunity for tons of overtime. It is a small police department with 3 dispatchers. I liked it but am unsure that I will be able to multitask etc. There is 4 months of training involved. It is a great police department but if you are not making it in training they will let you know that this line of work is not for you. They may ask me to sign a conditional offer of employment this week.
On the other hand, I have an opportunity to be a probation officer. I have two bachelor's degrees and could put them to use. I would also have to go to the academy for 3 months which is cool. It pays only $14/hr with probably not alot of opportunity for overtime. I know I can do probation. I just don't want to accept dispatcher and then not make it through training and miss the academy. Help!

Thanks to my brother in law I can get free pc games and stuff and I've heard about Guild Wars but I've never played the games before. So naturally I have some questions.

1) Once after buying the game in store do you have to pay a monthly or yearly or any fees?

2) What Guild Wars game package would be best for a noob to start?

3) Is it easy to play once you get the hang of it or is the gameplay a bit of a challenge the whole way through?

4) How long does the Guild Wars game/s last?

5) Is it hard to get levelled and get money and items and does the game have its own currency or is the currency connected to your credit card?

Thanks for answering everyone.

Joseph Smith was given the golden plates from God and he translated them. He is considered a prophet of God and his translation the revised word of God for modern times. If that is so, then why have Mormon leaders changed his writings and teachings to fit recent scientific DNA evidence that proves that he was in error when he said that Native Americans descended from the Jews? If they changed the text to say something different, which they did, then they are saying that the original text was flawed. And if the original text was flawed, then that would mean Joseph Smith did not translate them accurately and was not a prophet from God. How do you reconcile these things? Hope I didn't offend anyone. I am truly baffled.
