That happened to me a few weeks ago. I just guessed that they didn't like my answers because they didn't think they were "right" to their standards, but than I went back to try to e-mail the dude that was asking the questions and he and all his questions were gone. One thing I have learned in my few years of living is that there is a lot of intolerant people in the world, and I just ignore them, or antagonize them. Depends on my mood for the day. Just find a more conversational group. Sundays are hell in the spirituality forums. Uh, no pun intended there. Sorry.

It's all controlled from the top down. That's why this site has become boring and wishy washy. I went from being addicted to rarely visiting the site. There must be some pretty insecure people at the top is all I can say.
Hi Nick.

Probably because those are the two groups that seem to hate each other the most. One or the other gets mad and reports it. It's a shame, really; I like looking at different opinions. If I disagree, I give my own opinion, I don't get the question deleted. =P

Heath,
A question and answer format should never be a place for people to be pitted against one another. IT should be a place for people who want sincere answers to good questions. I personally do not want to be pitted against either side and do not want to read people putting others down. (Just for the record... I have been offline and in church this morning.) Have a great day and a wonderful week.
Thanks,
Eds

Some people have a hard time holding civilized discussions without getting offended (or being offensive for that matter).

This type of tension seems to arise even more-so when it comes to discussions between those of faith and those without.

there are some christians that believe it to be their civil responsibility to report any infraction of rules, god bless their little hearts! so watch your language and don't sound too harsh or mean or they'll have a melt down--never mind that they go home and slap the wife and beat the kids and kick the dog like everyone else.

It IS tough. The battle rages on!

But it should have to be seen as a 'battle' because 99% of the population are firmly enscounced in their beliefs and will not change.

But it is kinda fun to see the tennis match.

Those posting questions regarding the Muslim god also report those who answer with the truth.

Some folks are just childish "tattle tales" and love to run to "mama" when someone disagrees with them. They usually call themselves mature adults too. ;-)

Great question!

that's not fair to say. a lot of atheist questions get deleted too. I'm a christian and have never had a question deleted, but instead I get a group of people who insult me for my beliefs instead of answering.

I think their are people that are turned up side down when they read something against religion. The truth hurts when you realize in you mind that you have been lied to your whole life.
