I prayed that my fathers cancerous tumor would shrink with chemo. Well it was supposed to take many treatments and it totally disappeared after only two treatments. I felt my prayers were answered. This experienced doctor was very surprised! Someone without faith told me, oh he responded quite well. I thought no, this was the Lord.

Absolutely.

The answer is always the same; NO.

I must confess I quit playing the praying game when I left the Church a number of years ago.

My last prayer was for our congregation to find a way to stop stabbing each other in the back. The petty disputes were unbearable for me. When I received the standard answer I just gave up.

I now consider myself a full blown Atheist. I am open minded in that I will look at any real evidence but it has to be real. Faith just won't cut it any more...

YES. My prayers, not only mine but all our prayers, are always answered… we just overlooked it or ignored the answers to our prayers. His answers are YES, NO, & WAIT.

Most of the time we don’t believe God can answer all our prayers. We have no faith of it. We ask with wrong motives (Jas. 1:6-8). We just focus on ourselves. Unconfessed sins separates us from God (Isa. 59:1-2). We have idols in our hearts that come between us and God (Eze. 14:3). God’s word often doesn’t remain in us (John 15:7), always forgotten.

For those who have faith, God has promised wonderful things: our salvation, forgiveness of sins (1 John 1:9), wisdom (Jas. 1:5).

“He who belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God” (John 8:47). “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

The bible says God works in ways that we, most of the time, can’t understand. 1 Cor 13:12 tells us that we will be able to see God’s answers to our prayers and we will understand.

Every new day is a new beginning that God will give us answers to our prayers and questions in life.

Be thankful to His blessings.

you lack an understanding then of how prayer works

the type of energy being dealt with is like being seeped in the inevitability of a certain kind of controversy, for instance the side of a controversy that deals with not being confused over being accidentally enlightened

so this accidental enlightenment drives the real nail into the coffin that is the prayer act itself- and you must apologize if the tone of a funeral is just used to give the right perspective, but there really IS a higher understanding behind every prayer, and it has perceptual interlays that step down and step up in different predictable patterns and personalities that correspond to a language for circumstance, the key here being the manner of how it really should be left as a 50/50 and not just an outright expectation-- especially in human beings who mostly just want to automate their lives to find peace with god

One that comes to mind is when I prayed that GOD would show me a particular verse in the Bible that I did not remember. I was reading another book when all of a sudden, the verse jumped right at me from the book that I was reading! This occurred moments after I prayed!!! It may appear like a small thing or perhaps a coincidence, but, I strongly believe that the hand of GOD played a role at that time.

Jeremiah 29:13  And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

GOD bless

God isn't a vending machine.. He answers every prayer, but it's not always the answer you want.

i prayed and asked GOD to give me wisdom, strength and courage and humbleness and the ability to handle any situtation that comes my way it happened i noticed my strengths and i thanked GOD for that!!!! it works
but if u go against his word i think that is when u really realize how true it is if it's all taken away and you're back at square one.

I get answers to every prayer.

I asked that I would be able to sleep well last night. I did sleep well.

I asked that the Lord Bless the people I love. He does.

I asked for Him to help me to get things done. He does/

I asked that He help me learn to love myself unconditionally. It is happening.
