...shouldn't working women develop better relationship skills, just in case? There is a danger to not being able to support yourself, but isn't there also a danger in taking your relationship for granted? Since dual-income couples are more likely to divorce, shouldn't a working wife spend some time learning the skills to save her relationship?

One benefit of being a housewife is having the luxury of having plenty of time to work on family relationships. Indeed, women were once advised to "cultivate" their marriages. Shouldn't busy working women be advised to learn some anti-divorce skills, just as housewives should learn some anti-poverty skills?

I was emailed by someone who told me that a good number of the controversial questions are posted by Yahoo employees just to stir things up. These types of questions are usually posted in areas where religious/gay/lesbian/govt/immigration issues are discussed. Anything liberal is allowed to stand and anything conservative is bleeped out. I am beginning to think that someone very high up/hidden is using this forum to gauge or swing public opinion. I once spoke for 15 minutes at my local city council meeting when they tried to pass a resolution to condemn the immigration raids of last year. I'll tell you which side I spoke for if you email me, but I had 6 T.V. cameras in my face, which included 3 hispanic international networks (I am hispanic). When the 11 P.M. news came around, I took to flipping channels, and I didn't appear for one second...So, tell me, is there free speech? I hope to hear from you..Fernando..

i got a dog 2 years ago but after about a year my grandma started getting very itchy red rashes on her body like doc says its eczema or psorisis but since my family hates dogs especially my mom she thinks its he dog allergy when i dont think it is because she doesnt sneeze, cough, or red eyed, or ever has any problems with her nose.. its just the skin what do you think?

that some superiority created us by some unknown force of power, over the theory of evolution?
i have tried to believe in a god, but i just can't take it seriously, let alone live by his "rules"
i mean, in school they teach us science, how the world and its people came about. They show charts of primates evolving into the humans we are, they talk about the wonders of nature and it's own creations.
why is there such strong mindset on religion today when we have the technology and thousands of proven facts that show how we, and the earth, came about?

please don't begin preaching god's word.

i was having sex with a condom on, and durrrrrring sex, it had came off. but he didnt ejaculate.my real question is about pre-***. ive heard TONS of different answers about it . some people say it does, some people say it doesnt contain sperm. although i know it does, how likely am i to get pregnant from that? 98% of the time i have sex with a condom, the other 2% i dont and i always make sure the guy pulls out.

My husband and I have agreed on Miranda for our daughter, but we still cannot agree with a middle name. I like Grace, Elise, Claire (after my favorite cousin), Jean (after my grandmother), Olivia, or Joy (my middle name). i came to work,maybe i should have just called off in the first place,but i came in. i got lightheaded and dizzy. i told the mangager/supervisor on duty that i felt sick and had to leave. well i left and when i came back they said i walked off my job. to boot they said i tried to grab a child. what happened is i was scanning some items and a child had a ball and it looked like they were going to scan the ball over the scanner again.so i pushed the ball away. ok maybe i was a little too forceful.iget very nervous and jumpy at work. i wouldnt cause anyone any harm. i hope they didnt mean that i was being violent. i got frustrated with the scanner when it didnt work. i got all worked up and yes,you could say i had a fit. i just dont know what to do now.

I already called the vet and asked if they were supposed to give me something for him but they said no. Two other vets said that they can see him after the weekend and then give him something but he is suffering now and will hardly move from the couch. His appetite is fine as long as I bring it to him. I cant even get him to go outside for a bathroom break. He wants to lick that spot alot and he's a bit restless. He is a large 72lb lab and about 2 years old. It was Tuesday night and today is Saturday already.
