Four of us (out of 15) eat no meat at all. Isn't it a bit inconsiderate for the owner to have our Christmas party at a steakhouse? Should we say something?

I've checked the menu and even their salads have meat in them.

A guy and my best friend had a thing for eachother for a couple of weeks and my friend realized that the guy totally was not her type..now a month later i am friends with this guy (as is my friend) and the guy and i have lots in common, does the fling between my friend and him make him off limits for me? Im reaching out because Im having a bad day because a group of people hurt my feelings and Im having a hard time getting past it. It's like I know I have to pray for them and "this to shall pass". I feel like I just want to crawl unders my covers and cry. Do you think that is a test of my faith? Now I'm about to start rambling, I guess I'm looking for some words of encouragement, really having a bad day because of it. Thanks

i have just installed ubuntu on my computer but i don't know how to get my usb wireless adapter to work. i have a trendnet TEW 429. i have never used ubuntu or any other linux before so i need very specific directions. My version of ubuntu is 6.06. Please Help!

why do you spend so much money when you know that no matter how hard you try, it cant beat a jet. i guess it would be cool to have fast vehicles but only if aircrafts didnt exist.

but its too much like hooking up a beeper to make it the most reliable beeper. it would be cool if cellphones and pdas didnt exist.

I hate to say this. But liberals are one of the most intolerant group of human beings in the world.

They loose their temper too easily, throw personal insults at you to shut you up, and get very angry at you for exposing them for what they really are.

They only want you to hear one side of the story, period.

Liberals, your insults aren't working. In fact, they only drive me and others even more.

Thank you for showing us the true intolerant oppressive liberals you really are.

I lost track after I was 1st told about grindcore a couple of years back...

It's the only genre of rock that seems to keep growing new heads almost daily. Have a look on Wiki'.

Often, the sonic differences (as far as *I* can hear) are so subtle, it almost makes no real difference.

I like a decent amount of metal, but man...

I have allergies to certain plants and chemicals. I was constantly asked to work in the garden center by my employers. They needed a doctor's statement which I feel is unnecessary because when I was first hired, I was told I would only be working on the frontend as a cashier. The person who interviewed me does not work there anymore. But regardless, doctor's statement or not, I should not have been harrassed. This company is obviously not staffed well. I have been asked to work in other areas as a cashier but in these departments, I had no knowledge of my surroundings, which made me feel unhelpful to the customers. I feel it's the company's way of getting rid of the old and putting in the new seeings that I was one of the best and fastest cashiers there.
