my father was kind of getting on my nerves so I sent him to a nursing home. He was still competent but it was a pain in the *** taking care of him. So after he went away to the nursing home I knew I wasn't going to leave in that crappy old cabin he was living in. So i decided to sell it. I made a nice profit and bought a exsquiset persian rug. However people keep thinking that I am a scumbag. How should I respond to these false aqusations?

Do you think you should pay more or less in taxes? If the government needs more money, should they just increase taxes to raise it, even if it is just a select group of people that have to pay more, or should they look for frivolous spendings and/or obsolete programs to cut first? And finally, if you were wealthy (or if you are), would you voluntarily pay more in taxes?

Hello all, I am 14 weeks pregnant w/ my first (YAY!) and my stomach has started popping out...the problem is since last night I have been itching aroung my ribs my hips, belly, legs. I had a TSH blood test in OCtober and just now found out the results. My endocrhinologist told me to start takign the sample medicine she sent with me. She gave me this BEFORE she got the results of the TSC, and told me she'd let me know if I should take it. She gave it to me becasue she thought It likely I had hypothyroidism.

Anyway, I've started taking it, but I'm concerned... I found out it is almost the lowest dose this company manufactures.. only 75 mcg (synthroid). I don't have another appointment with her until January.. Shouldn't we try to find out if this dose is high enough??.. I have struggled with my weight for years, and I am hoping that I have found an answer (and some help with weight control)..

Should I reccomend a re-test in a few weeks to see how it's affecting my thyroid levels?? Because.. maybe this dose wont be high enough.. I really wouldn't want to wait till Feb (my appoitment is Jan 30) to find out that I need a stronger dose!!

Boras takes only a 5% commission on negotiated contracts, the lowest in the business. He also bases contract demands on statistics, which makes him an innovator. So, why is he being labeled as ruining baseball when he simply does his job? Would you not want someone like this - a former minor league player himself, and hard bargainer - working for you if you were an athlete?

This was the top headline of the newspaper for today. So does this news come as surprise for you or you were expecting this? I was expecting this, because Bush and iraq war are very unpopular. I think she looks great in it and it really shows off how slim she is which her other outfits didn't. I think she may be the most beautiful woman I've ever seen in any sport and that includes Sharapova and Kournikova. And from what I've heard, she's one of the nicest people on tour to boot. I understand that there is a lot of ND fans out there...but EVERY team has a lot of fans. Why commit yourself to just one team...and then when that team is 1-8, you look foolish. When Michigan beat them up last year all the announcers could comment about were previous games where the Fighting Irish played well. My question is, do you think a major network should commit to one team?
